2023 Bowl Games Thread

dead horse in other threads:

24 team playoff

week off after championship saturday - this year would have 8 games on 14/15/16 December

top 8 byes, 9-16 host round 1 on campus

random draw of winners & a week off after round 1

round 2 neutral sites agreed by the teams - if no agreement in 3 hours of haggle - each picks a site and flip a coin

play round 2 starting 3 days after xmas either 2/3/3 or 3/3/2 depending on whether sunday is before or after the 3 days for round 2 - this year would have been 28/29/30 December

10-14 days between round 2 and the quarters played at pre-set sites - this year would be 10/11/12 January (2/3/3)

14 days between quarters and semis to be played at pre-set sites on the Saturday of the AFC/NFC title game weekend (this year 27 January)

another week bye - title game day before superbowl

I just looked it up.

I they scored a field goal at the end of the NEbraska game back on 11/24.

However, they haven’t scored a TD in 11 quarters.

Someone else said it above, but if they don’t score for the rest of the game then they’ll have been shut out against ranked opponents for the entire season. 

What hot garbage.

Works out perfectly for SC, tho.  Lincoln can field his usual shit defense and still win every game by 3 touchdowns.

yea true it is not like there is any pressure on him to accomplish anything of meaning

the way they overrate the Big 10 he might get into the playoffs some and then get really embarrassed

Yes, it’s the Big Ten that’s overrated. Not the Big XII.
