do you ever yearn?

I had to rewatch the Bizarro episode again just for fun. The writers really knocked it out of the park with the gang's counterparts. Kevin as Elaine mentions, is considerate and caring, the opposite of Jerry, but he's also enthusiastic and optimistic about mundane things. The complete opposite of Jerry's schtick, which is critical and almost hateful towards everyday things and interactions. Jerry wouldn't even consider going to the Museum of Miniatures, but Kevin loved it.

When Elaine yells "GET OUT!" and knocks Kevin down, both Feldman and Gene rush to his aid and make sure he's ok. When Gene says "haven't you done enough?" my mind instantly thinks of The Fire when George panicks and barrels through a room full of women, children and the elderly people without any regard for others.

Feldman proposes a smart idea for a weather/alarm clock, Elaine says it's a fantastic idea, and he immediately backs down. The real Kramer would have found some random guy to take with him on the next flight to China to create the prototype. The lack of self confidence and inhibition is just perfectly displayed with a couple lines.

Reggie's is of course the opposite of Monks. Kevin's apartment looks a lot like Jerry's, but reverse orientation. Kevin has a unicycle in the background, while Jerry has a bike.  (I can't recall him using his bike, does he ever ride it?). The Bizarro story ends with an after credits scene when Kevin talks like an alien saying “Me so happy, me want to cry” as he embraces his friends. A perfect ending to this story.

Oh, and if that wasn't enough the B, C and D storylines are George going to the model club at the old meat factory, Kramer getting a job at a law firm because he used their bathroom and walked into a meeting, and Jerry's Man-hands girlfriend. This episode hits for the cycle, top to bottom excellence.

So you're gonna burn that bridge?

FLAME ON!

Well put.  I sometimes wonder how sometimes when you watch like a pirated format of a show/movie/porno that the image is completely reversed, right?  Does that episode...does Kevin's apartment actually appear like the Jerry apartment format we know?  Oh my god, the simulation is truly compressing in on itself.  WORLDS ARE COLLIDING!!!!!!

They're hatching something.  You can be sure of that!

(probably didn't get the line right, but wife and I use it all the time when our oldest is talking with her friends.  I mean, she sounds like a nice girl)

I watched a while back and was shocked that all of that was a single episode, and none of those stories feel incomplete. They all are iconic on their own. Also the first Morning Train montage I think.

I fucking lost it one night when I came home late after work years ago and my wife was literally at the kitchen table with dinner at like 9:30pm and said, "Which by the way..........was for two!"  Turns out after the laugh, she was genuinely pissed off.

Also when Kramer in that episode says, "You know, TCB'ing."  Because I also think of the jive brothers in "Airplane!" saying "TCB'ing"  I do a double belly laugh.  All due respect to BTO for their TCB'ing.

In S08E07 The Checks, one of the Japanese tourists that Kramer meets on the street, also played the Karate sensei in Weird Al's 1989 movie UHF! SUPPLIES!!!

Another fun fact, the guy in the car known as "Farbman" is played by Dave Pierce, who was the "Transportation Coordinator" for the last few seasons. I can only assume this role would have most definitely been played by Larry David had he not left the show after season 7.

Hey everybody, grab a bucket!

Use your Slop-Bucket!

Why is the Bucket on his head, shouldn't it be on your head?

For all my remaining rep today, quote the forth time the word "bucket" was used in an episode!

Why can’t I place this?

Not sure if this is an actual question, or a quote from the show.

But it was in part 1 of the Finale when George leaves the door open when he goes to the bathroom in Jerry's apartment

That's why.  I've probably only watched the Finale 3 or 4 times all the way through.

It's great...

J: Where do you think this relationship is? If you are thinking of instituting an open-door urination policy, let me disabuse you of that notion right now, my friend.

G: You're so uptight.

J: Uptight? Let's all just have a big pee party. Hey everybody, grab a bucket. We're going up to Jerry's. It's a pee party.

It's one of my favorite lines...right up there with George's response when he had Jerry call in a bomb threat to the Yankees and Jerry's demand was fitted hat day...

G: Guess who he put in charge of Fitted Hat Day? Me.

J: Hey look at you.

G: Yeah, look at me.  Now I gotta figure out the hat sizes of 59,000 different people!  What if a pinhead shows up?  I gotta be on top of that.

That was like the main thing.  It's the basis for the alternate crew in the alternate universe.  I've always noticed the EWR flyer on the fridge.  What pisses me off who the fuck hangs an oven mitt on the fridge on the far side from the oven?  Fucking savages.  YOU KNOW WE'RE LIVING IN A SOCIETY?

Because you need easy access to it to use as a sponge to sop up tomato juice when you spill it everywhere.

Never mind the blacks and the Jews.

What is Debra Messing up to these days?  If it turned out she was a psychotic racist with fealty to an orange shit gibbon after a decade of a show where she was the right hand woman to two gay guys, would it surprise anyone?  You know.  Because of the simulation.
