If we just don’t turn the ball over and keep OL penalties to the league average we can beat any team in the league, home or away…

Is it the QB or the play calling?

When the scheme doesn’t provide checkdowns to the RB, hot routes/slants to a QB under all out pressure then that’s clearly on the OC.

I was in the car for a bit during the game and Andre in his nice way basically said they’re asking CJ to hold onto the ball til the last second and wing it down field on a prayer. Everyone knows Caley is terrible.

Oh well, just beat an 11 win team (on the road), that needed to win this game.

Good point, but they sure didn't look like an 11-win team. Too much holding in the NFL? Degraded product?

Yeah, it's clearly Caley. The one time he used the middle-middle of the field, Collins ate up a huge chunk play. Then Caley called 2 straight running plays picked up one yard and called a 3rd and long PA concept. That is some Greg Davis level playcalling bullshit.

We e lost to the Rams, Seattle, Jax, and Denver. Only (potentially) non playoff team loss was the Bucs. All five losses were one score.

Wins against SF, Jax, Bills, and Chargers.

Too many people on this board have too much time invested in bitching to turn back now. Whatever man, this team is hard as a rock and easily the most likable this franchise has ever known…

I’m 50 and have never seen the Oilers or Texans advance to the AFC Championship Game. We are so fucking close that a few tweaks in offensive playcalling will get us there. Sorry for being impatient, I’d like to see a Houston team in the Super Bowl once in my life and I have, absolute best case scenario, 25 years left before I croak.

Ryans has done a excellent job Improving the organization. My frustration has been with the offensive side of ball. Play calling, lack of development from players.

Dude ‘a few tweaks’ ? You and a couple others cry out to fire the OC on every fucking drive we punt. Do you feel we have elite personnel on offense?

Great win over the Chargers without their two starting offensive tackles.

Yes, there was a some ugly shit on offense, but that isn't going away this year and teams have gone a very long way with shitty offenses.

One last thing and it can't be stressed enough, FUCK RICH EISEN and I hope that fat bastard blows out both Achilles next time he tries to run a 40.

We have good enough personnel to field an average offense with competent playcalling which is enough to win a Super Bowl with our defense. I’m not asking for much. How about an offense that doesn’t disappear for huge stretches of the game because of a failure to make in-game adjustments to start.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Texans have beaten 4 11-win teams this season:

49ers (11-4)

Jaguars (11-4)

Bills (11-4)

Chargers (11-5)

They’re at 11 wins for just the 3rd time in franchise history.

The Chargers are our BITCH! Fucking glorious.

And a friendly reminder that Chargers fans are Dodgers fans now too, post relocate muahahaha 😈

Yeah. There was quite a lot of Texans fans there yesterday. Hopefully all of them made it out safely considering how trashy LA fans can be

Hopefully they take notice and remove Eisen

Article

Eisen was accused by fans of sounding monotone, devoid of energy, and not matching the intensity and significance of the game.

Well, they kept it interesting at least.

Three time outs, 4th and ten, a QB with a rubber arm. The Colts could have advanced their field position by 40 yards in one play (a fucking punt) no time out required. In their own end, the Jags would have to go conservative. Punt you stupid bastard.

The NFL is giving us a crap product. Some of these coaches are fucking morons

It's fascinating to me that both fanbases for Jags and Texans seem to overwhelmingly want to face each other in the first round.

We beat Jacksonville with Davis Mills at QB. The Texans will kick the Jags asses with Stroud playing. We B ready.

Plus you don’t have weather risks that you have with the alternatives
