  2. I’m not saying you don’t have an argument as a season ticket holder for better home games. I’m saying it’s Miller’s first season and we don’t know the details of why we didn’t get a better home slate. Wishing Moody to be empty is just immature thinking. You never want our home arena to be empty regardless of who we are playing. And then wishing for it to be empty because you didn’t personally get your wish of better home opponents? it’s a bit much.
  3. College football is a professional sport without salary caps or barriers to player movement. Before the House settlement, P4 team salary costs ranged from a few million to mid 20’s, depending upon the size and generosity of alumni fanbases. Now, P4 ADs need to budget for $20.5M and up. Texas is one of the very few schools with an AD than can absorb that expense with minimal pain (and still have a reservoir of alumni giving). That expense is damn near breaking ISU. OU is in between- their AD had layoffs to free up money, and they rolled their collective into the AD. They do not have much to give above and beyond the House settlement amount. There are other programs in the funding space occupied by OU, and many have championship aspirations. Some, located in regions with extreme concentrations of talent, will be ok. (They will still have to pay their stars market rates, but they can get young high talent prospects enrolled affordable, because of their region) OU is not located in a talent rich region. For decades, it has gotten around that, by claiming north Texas as its region. That strategy doesn’t work as well now. Texas and TAMU also claim that region, and have more money to offer. Hell, TT and SMU may also have more money to offer. This is a new game, and I don’t know that they have a solution.
  4. Anybody know if the CoOp is selling Livingstone 13 jerseys yet?
  5. It's insightful commentary like this Wells' article that makes me glad I don't subscribe to the 9.95'ers
  6. Yes, not disputing the news that she was moved. Just noting that the move was certainly for a purpose and if the current BOP record is correct she has already springboarded to a private hideaway in a secret location. edit - in response to @Gil Bang
  7. And the first time it rains there will be a pile of gravel at the curb. On my street anyway.
  8. I agree with this. When everything starts to slide towards irrevocable chaos around here, I show up and restore order.
  9. This is what I am afraid of. And what the Fed is afraid of. I wanted to buy a bunch of August 1st PLTR calls, but was nervous about the report and tariff implementation on. Going to be interesting to see how the market reacts. I am especially interested to see PLTR earnings, against what is going on in the market? I'm conflicted as I think they will report well. But good news on a potentially down day? Who knows. Yeah the underlying AI data trove. I was surprised it shot up so fast but honestly even more surprised on the retreat after the advance? IF your bet is the data, then that did not change. So oversold. Nice premarket move. You good call got me looking at options on the steep rise. selling Sept $200 calls @ 15.50 looks lucrative as well on those shares. As these big bounces usually pull back a little naturally. But always nice to see one of your tickers on biggest gainers of the day!
  10. the round after my career-low 77, I thought I had established a new standard for myself but went out and shot a smooooooooooooth 108
  11. Is Mama Betty's better than Santiagos?
  12. Apparently, Shreveport community leaders didnt appreciate these officer's attempts to connect with the citizens of their city.
  13. married 4 times
  14. They've started calling Smith Darker Livingstone.
  15. Topics like the places above make me wonder how much credence there is with ancient civilizations? Think Younger Drays stuff. Randall Carlson, etc. We know the YD period happened. We know humanity had what many accept as a "reset" as much of the population was killed off. Were there older civilizations with sufficient tech to construct such things as the pyramids, gobekli tepe, etc. with advancements more than simple stone tools and slave labor? 12K years ago, any metal such as iron/steel would turn to dust. Historical dates keep getting pushed back further and further with more findings of civilizations that are older and older. Cool to think about. If a giant space rock slammed into the earth, all electronics are gone. Most of humanity dies off as they are not equipped to survive, and cities turn back into dust over a few thousand years.
  16. I'd bet my next commission that she's gonna have an iphone too. And she won't have to hide it in in her snatch...the guards will be told to look the other way and she'll use it openly. her lawyer has confirmed the move.
  17. If she has been "moved" a discrepancy has occurred. https://www.bop.gov/inmateloc/ but it could be a lagging update
  18. Jeremiah Smith reminds me of Parker Livingstone.
  19. He's convinced himself that Parker Livingstone is in the Epstein files.
  20. Qualifications only really matter if the person is going to attempt to perform the job the way it's supposed to be performed. Laura Loomer could step in and do the same job that Pam has done.
