Reading between the lines, their panic meter on the offense is going up. A whole lot of Looch wish casting that Wiggins is going to be a better OC than Klein. He didnβt discuss offensive personnel at all, just they need to improve at OC. He also went on a couple portal Moneyball diatribes, so Iβm not sure their NIL is where they want to be.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

Kind of a thread derail, but strongly think youβve overshot the Golden Age of TV by maybe five years give or take. Thereβs nothing out there that is even close to something like The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men; or even good-season GoT. Better Call Saul maybe was really the last truly good prestige drama. Also really hit me watching Masters of the Air and how plodding and inferior it was to The Pacific or BoB. On the light comedy front, has there been a thirty minute show worth watching since Arrested Development wrapped? Or a family comedy since Blackish or Modern Family? Itβs a better landscape than pre-Sopranos but itβs in a pretty clear dive and that isnβt just my impression, itβs pretty broadly shared. I donβt think itβs DEI related, itβs pretty clearly industry consolidation, enshitification, and continued hacking of writersβ rooms. The streaming services got taken over by slop and even the βgoodβ stuff is mostly an interesting premise for a two hour movie stretched into 10-12 hours or more.

Baby Scott seems like a likable enough guy but itβs impossible to say anything definitive about him as a coach because heβs just a patsy. A company man. He wasnβt hired to win football games or implement culture or anything like that, he was hired because he makes Jerry feel comfortable. Itβs not possible for him and he probably has no desire anyway to step outside of the parameters that have been set for him.

This has more lyrical substance to it than anything that Dave Grohl ever wrote.

Listening to Sam's Town again and... man. It reminds me why I started this thread. I mean this album completely blows away anything The Foo Fighters ever put out. Here's maybe like the 7th best song off of Sam's Town.

Wow. That was my original design way back. If you guys need the original file I might still have it around.

Also, Andrew Tate claimed he bet on himself to lose and made a ton of money, implying he "fixed the fight." Last I checked, you go to jail for that. So all women and all bookies hate you. What a slimeball.

Was glorious seeing Jake Paul get handed his ass by Anthony Joshua. Pretty sure these are real Tweets (not on X), but the photos are real and speak for themselves.

Roth would be the guy to read and listen to here. Heβs far and away the best political writer we have in America. Not even a close 2nd to his work. I asked him a similar question to this at one of Defectorβs birthday parties about how he understands this stuff so well and the answer more/less was rich people are lazy.

Edit: His kid or wife good have been ill. Anyone that's had a child or decent wife knows how this can scare you. I do realize there are a fair portion on you that wife sick - cha-ching let that bitch suffer some. Fairly certain he needed a bit of time for one or a combo of those. I never knew he took a bit of time but hope it helped him. -

On ADVrider there is an absolutely epic ride across Siberia by user Colebatch. It is worth finding and reading, just be aware it will take days of your life.
