  1. Past hour
  2. I think this trade just might work out.
  3. IMO, we'd be 8/9 with win against a decent P4 team but would still need to beat aggy and would then be guaranteed in.
  4. That entire court reminds me of a webpage from like 1998.
  5. My guess is it is to make it tougher for anybody trying to get them back by having to either travel or find representation. Plus they probably have established ICE facilities in Louisianan to hold these people. Friendly judges too.
  6. You're all going to fill really silly next year when beating Ohio State in Austin while losing on the road to Tennessee and aggy helps us make the playoff. The Georgia loss put us well behind all the others. If we had kept it close, we don't fall that much and beating aggy would make things still possible. We lost to a playoff team badly. That's what is hurting us and not losing to Ohio State back in September which didn't hurt our chances until we then lost to a bad Florida team. And even through all of that, we never looked like a team that should make the playoff. If we had destroyed Vandy and barely lost to Georgia we would not have fallen so far. What I'd like to see if us blow aggy the fuck out and then see where the committee ranks us.
  7. It's almost like a scrimmage, but at least we're shooting a high % from around the court.
  8. I was more captivated by that ridiculous-ass key.
  9. Just gonna put this out there one more time post rankings. Texas would still be on the bubble with south western Tennessee state in week 1. Alabama would be #10 and we'd be #11/12 looking to get jumped by the ACC and G5. Go look at the resumes before quoting me.
  10. Question: why are so many ice detainees moved to places so far away from where they were apprehended? Massachusetts to Louisiana? Are they just trying to use extra taxpayer money to transport them?
  11. the bold is why they sprinkle in the 1 loss/2 loss non SEC/Big 12 to cover for the SOR. the group loss the SEC/Big Ten Tech at 5 should be a red flag but hidden by the fact that 1-4 are Big Ten/SEC. I would submit Indiana at 4 is a yellow flag given their SOS at 49 and OOC of ODU, Kennesaw, Indiana St, but tOSU's is 46
  12. Beat me to it. It was on Amazon Prime and I must’ve watched it 3 times. Great premise, script and acting. Too bad it wasn’t marketed well and did miserably. Box office was < $20M.
  13. Not if he doesn’t want to be these days.
  14. I'm gonna guess that KKKaroline made the call to get the mother out of the picture for good.... https://www.wcvb.com/article/karoline-leavitt-family-connection-ice-arrest/69547219
  15. We’re closer to 5 losses than we are to 2 losses. That should say enough about our deserving to be in.
  16. So how do we stop this? There has to be a way to regulate it. Not with this admin and congress of course, because they are traitors, but if we can somehow get control back, this has to be stopped.
  17. I think it depends on where you are at and the chartering organization. Girls have already made up nearly half (and growing) of the claimed number of Mormon kids who were pulled out in 2020, and COVID had a larger impact overall than them leaving. We know of a lot of Mormon, err LDS outside of Utah who stayed in Scouting so for all of the LDS threats, I'm not sure they were able to pull out as many as they claimed they were as well. Now I have seen it here in Austin - one of the nearby packs and troops was chartered through a conservative church and they made it clear girls were not welcome back when it was opened up to girls (we were looking for a Cub Scout pack with girls as well and they made it clear girls had no place there). Whether they've changed that stance or not, I don't know since we never hear of those units, other than when they have kids transfer to our units. It's been 7-8 years since it started happening (LBGTQ stuff and girls being added) so I'd imagine that those parents for which it was an issue have either bailed on scouting or made their peace and stuck it out (and are on their way to aging out anyways). Same. Being Austin, we will obviously trend more a certain way, but we have plenty of dads who are Good Ole Boys and you're not sure where they stand, and that's good that they keep political things out of it. Same (and I'm in the same leadership boat as you). And those times when politics have come up, it was less about a certain party, and more about a certain policy that affected us directly (earlier this year there was a lot of discussion about DOGE and getting rid of national parks). I will say this though, with the older kids, just by virtue of the merit badges involved with making Eagle Scout (and many in our troop aspire to that), those kids are a lot more engaged in terms of knowing what the politicians are doing that helps or hurts them, and how the political processes work, and they are pretty vocal about things. They watched DOGE and the White House trying to fuck up our National Park system, and today some of them have been discussing Whisky Pete's threats on a group discussion (they have plans for the National Jamboree). Republicans ain't helping themselves with a lot of kids coming out of Scouting.
  18. That video’s gonna come back to haunt him when he runs for California governor.
  19. chaminade splashes the half court shot to end the half. 52-36 at the half.
  20. Florida is not good and it was a bad loss but they also have the #1 SOS. hell they aimost beat and got fucked against Georgia AFTER their coach got fired. since we like to talk about bad wins like Kentucky and MSU. I do agree they totally gave up after the loss to UGA.
  21. Ha, good call. Just looked at wiki and they were about the same 365 days ago.
  22. May I suggest Bari's Pizza and Pasta in Pflugerville? It slams and goes hard.
