Bringing up Baby - screwball comedy The Wild Bunch - would probably fall into a modern western category as genre defining. there is definitely a Before Wild Bunch/After Wild Bunch as it relates to actual screen violence in a Western.

Defensive grades and snap counts spoilered below. Highlights: -Guillory looks really good so far. They don't play legitimate WRs until Auburn, so everyone should pause on anointing him a king, but I doubt anyone in the media will. -They are struggling to get home in the pass rush. -The vaunted DL isn't scoring as well as the hype would suggest. -They're keeping things really tight on who they're letting on the field now. They played 21 guys and the majority of that rotation came with the front 4. -

Ohio scored 70 against something better than air on Saturday. They would have happily scored more on Texas if they could have. The D is legit. Not perfect, but legit.

I'd kill most of you if Manning's throwing motion resembled the ear level release of the 3rd photo. Gonna keep my tits nice and agitated, thank you. -
IMPO the current status quo won't last that long. 40mil/year in NIL vs. 7mil over 3 is making this so top heavy(I don't know if Gundy is dollars and cents accurate, but it certainly is directionally so). The top 30 or so teams are going to SuperLeague this thing or something.

OU offensive grades and snap counts spoilered below. Highlights: -3 of OUs OL starters graded out around 50 or less via PFF. -They tried to only play the five starters on the OL all game, but Fasusi's late injury spoiled that. -They have no running game and limited running talent, outside of Mateer himself. -Michigan blitzed the guy more than 50% of the time and failed to spy while doing so until the late 3rd quarter. -
Sturm had a great stat during the lead up to -- and immediately following -- Micah's trade. I think Bill Barnwell went back and ran the numbers. Over the last four years, the Cowboys' defense had the lowest Expected Points Allowed in the entire league when Micah was in the game. Conversely, the Cowboys were second-to-worst in the NFL over the time same time period when Micah wasn't in the game. (I say this with full belief that Parsons tended to be completely gassed by the end of every season.) The Packers absolutely toyed with the Lions yesterday -- and Parsons only played like 30 snaps.

aggy does one and a half of these things.

Kibble is surprising to me. We heard a lot of good things about him last year and saw him in the playoffs. but has only gotten 10 snaps (73.7 pass/72.1 run grade albeit a very small sample size vs SJSU) Neto has gotten 22 snaps. 65.5 grade vs OSU and 61.7 grade vs SJSU (not Stroh bad, but not particularly encouraging)

I like me. My wife likes me. -
While Pulp Fiction is itself intentionally derivative, I feel like there were a ton of copy cat zany, ultra violent, ensemble cast movies that came out right after and have been going ever since.... Most starring Christopher Walken - Things to Do in Denver When Your Dead, 2 Days in the Valley, Suicide Kings, Smoking Aces, all of Guy Ritchie's british gangster movies. Even movies like Go and The Way of the Gun.

About time that tom hanks got put in his place.

Even the nazis thought they had to pass an enabling act to give Hitler emergency powers. John Roberts and the other conservatives on SCOTUS have decided they don't even need that to legitimize their dictatorship.

completely agree on small DLs (Wyoming comes to mind). The one disconcerting aspect of the Flood OLs is the lack of physicality. For the most part the OL has been guys that screen the DL from the RB and get 0 displacement. It is still early though, so improvement can happen.

I was ready to complain about my team (minus QB) scoring zero TD's this week, which is exactly how my season started last year. My RB's (Taylor/Hall) got vultured by wankin' Daniel Jones and Fields who both scored two short rushing TD's. Then Cook scored, so I got one. Yay. I checked my league and was shocked to see I'll probably have the highest score of the week. Scoring was down this week. I'm the only team in my (half ppr/5pt passing TD) league that has broken 100 so far. Two other teams could do it. One needs 8 points from Aaron Jones and the other needs about 20 from Jefferson.

We're going to do this he's injured/he's not injured thing again all season aren't we?

Just as an exercise, what's our best five on the OL? You can go regardless of position. Goosby.... um, Campbell. Hutson? Then... um.... Hey is Nick Brooks' suspension over? I'd like to see what Robertson looks like at center and Kibble at guard.
