  1. Past hour
  2. Why didn't they sell their home series against us to Arlington again?
  3. I, too, was brought up knowing killing people is wrong. Except in war. Or in self defense. Or, to protect others. As I got older, I learned the law allows for killing someone who is stealing your patio furniture at night. Made what used to be cut and dried more nebulous. Again, what motivates my comments is a concern for our society. I know nothing about these teens other than they are, and will always be, murderers.
  4. I knew better at 5 or 6 than to steal a car and shoot the owner. I don’t care who our idiots elect. Mature at your own speed. Me and mine know not to kill other humans. I’ve probably spent more time as a guest of the state than these idiots ever will.
  5. There is no problem with that. Unfortunately, we only have that kind of situation on paper. The reality is different. Which is a problem because they will probably be out in 4 years without any reform or useful skills and fuck up again. And the same people on here will say the state shouldn’t punish these poor kids because they need a hug because WE failed them.
  6. I do not want anything with “It just means more.” printed on it. Am glad we won, but I will not buy anything with that “We’re fucking losers at life.” slogan on it. Go Team! 🤘
  7. Repped to offset the neg. People mature at differing speeds, so I see the value in both differentiating adults from juveniles, as well as evaluating juveniles as individuals. I have no sympathy for these teenage murderers, other than holding out hope our society will effort to rehabilitate fucked up juveniles. Wishful thinking. They thought they had a reason, which was to save their own skin. If you think that reason isn’t one our country sometimes accepts as justification, you haven’t been paying attention. Parse this statement all you want, but frame your rebuttal within the mindset of someone who is not yet an adult, as our laws insist we do. Living in a country which twice elected a president who has bragged about his ability to kill someone for no reason, without consequence, has diminished my ability to share the moral outrage I read in this thread.
  8. Today
  9. TBF We finished with the best regular season record in football as well. The only SEC team to lose just a single conference game, but I guess that no one cares about the regular season SEC title in that sport.
  10. These bitches are real good. $8 at Sam’s.
  11. you know you fucked up when you got both the hood and the police chasing you:
  12. I got my last one from here. https://digitlogs.com/ before realising I still had access to my old job key in a text file. Owe well, I got a key from these people for $13 and it works perfectly.
  13. Somehow Royce Lewis didn’t manage to get involved too.
  14. Whatever happened to him?
  15. Aw, come on, Putt. The reason they started the season with him in the bigs was the chance that he might be that unicorn, earn Rookie of the Year, and they’d get an extra high draft choice. Obviously not happening, also obvious is that he needs to get a lot of at bats - good or bad - while he learns to hit against increased competition. If you are a shit team? Sure, put him in the MLB lineup every day. If you are serious about contending for the 11th year in a row, he’s in AAA while he figures it out.

  17. Same with my dad. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan Law back in the day and when aggy bought them out, they reached out to him asking if he wanted a new degree with the Texas A&M name on it instead and he told them fuck no.
  18. Wait. They’re going to buy out another coach? And overpay yet another coach?! I feel like I’ve seen this movie in college station before. Some fools never learn.
  19. Fans are nothing more than props in this money game and are the absolute last consideration in any decision made by schools and their enablers. Not sure any of this is worth getting worked up over.
  20. If the ump makes the right call they force the runner at third and maybe get another at 2nd or first. Or maybe get the force at 2nd and try for the dp at first. Either way they get an out or two.
  21. He didn't go to first because he was called out and the runner at first had to scramble back to first so he didn't get doubled up. If the ump makes the right call, the bases are loaded.
  22. $184M seems . . . impressively high.
  23. Yesterday's score is a beautiful thing to wake up to.
