  1. Past hour
  2. I understand this is a fun story for you for obvious reasons, but at least try to be honest about it. You keep throwing around a 1M viewer reach like it's gospel. Colbert's monologue at the beginning of every show pretty consistently gets 2.5-4M views on YouTube. I imagine a decent amount more through Paramount+ and Hulu. Every other late night show--including ones on Fox News--would absolutely kill for those numbers. People watching shows live hasn't been the be all end all in years. The format is dying (no one gives a shit about stock celebrity interviews anymore) through no fault of his own, and this was inevitable (though likely sped up be certain external factors), but he'll land on his feet in two seconds. Not my cup of tea--I've found him to be too safe and non-controversial since leaving Comedy Central--but he's obviously still incredibly popular.
  3. Lois Lane found Superman?
  4. Do you mean to tell me line drive shots don't regularly sit on the green or fairway after one bounce?
  5. baboso

    Getting old sucks

  6. Sidenote: I have no idea why he doesn’t just publically come out of the closet. It’s the worst kept secret in Hollywood. No one would care, and it wouldn’t hurt his image in this day and age and in his field.
  7. Where did they enter a school? I have missed that.
  8. A "scandal" based on a dude awkwardly posing for photographs isn't going anywhere.
  9. Not quite right. A bigly portion of that group know it's reported, but choose not to believe it. Because they're in a cult.
  10. Yeah, they've had fuck you money for many years and basically could do what they wanted and wanted to continue doing this. This is about bolstering Paramount's streaming service. Surprised it didn't happen a long time ago.
  11. The golf part of it is about just as believable.
  12. nobody's canceling pedro pascal
  13. Also ended a few days before Happy Gilmore 2. Good timing
  14. well deserved and past due. the people who were there will never forget how he handled playing out of position and still leading some really good, overachieving Texas teams on either side of TJ’s career here. the job he did after TJ left for the nba- we went 25-8 (12-4), got a 3 seed, and upset UNC on our way to the S16- was all time great. we also drubbed chris paul and josh howard’s wake forest team at the FEC, and ivey even hit a game winning buzzer beater vs nebraska. folks who weren’t around back then can’t appreciate what he did for/meant to our program. Hook Em Royal!!! 🤘🏼
  15. Yeah, the full text (actually multiple tweets) was classy and said all was forgiven and that he came back in I think the 1990s and learned about the Alamo, etc. I thought it was cool they posted that, because a lot of people do remember/associate him with the Alamo negatively and don't realize that he later apologized and toured the Alamo, etc.
  16. Yeah, they clearly built it as a copy of Ted Lasso, but it's a solid enough show. Santi is Jamie Tartt and I imagine they have the same arc planned for him. In the summer when there's not shit on, it's an even better show.
  17. SHOOTER12

    Ozzy has passed.

    Nope, Billy...
