Listening to the OTF livestream and Bobby mentioned that we had a higher offer than Ohio State for this guy. Matt Patricia signing a 3 year deal was likely the difference. Bobby then mentioned something I was thinking yesterday - at some point the numbers are large enough that the differences don't matter as much. For example, there's not much of a difference between $1 million and $1.5 million in terms of lifestyle. It's not like the difference from 60k to 90k, which does. This is especially the case if you are a college kid living on campus. Of course if someone comes in with an offer several times another then that can make a difference (like $1 million vs. $5 million.) But that just doesn't happen very often.
Should be one transfer as an undergrad, then one grad transfer. I’d be fine with a minimum credit hour rule like this, too. Exception if the HC leaves or dies.
Texas has always been tight with mounds of money. Its really mindblowing. Will be the downfall of Sark against great teams. Deer in the headlight look again. The fact he doesnt have an OC shows how retarded he can be.
In the end nothing works with incompetent blocking. I do not necessarily disagree with you, but I dont think it will get Texas to a title. You can mitigate OL issues, but you are not winning titles just spreading it out in 10 personnel. That early 2000s style of offense will be shut down by competent defenses. There is a reason 12 personnel is the fastest growing formation in the NFL. We will have to wait until the roster is finalized to make a guess as to what offense fits the personnel.
Debridement every morning is 10,000x worse than the burn itself. Don’t google if you’re squeamish. Then late afternoon/evening when it starts to scab over again and every time you even think about moving it cracks is a close second to the burn itself pain wise.
I don’t blame Harris much for stuff. He’s GM in name only. Sark has Jerry Jones syndrome. He wants his championship and he wants it to be clear his brilliance is what won it. Sark was happy to let Glasscock walk, who is now the highest paid GM in cfb at LSU. Also why Sark would never give up playing calling duties.
