This is what I was asking for last night, and all I could find was a partial list in the Houston Chronicle. Logic would dictate that someone on the state’s disaster response team would be able to compile and publish a consolidated list of a) the deceased who’ve been identified and whose families have been notified, b) a list those who are known to be missing for BOLO reasons, and c) a list of the number of unidentified bodies.

I said that. They’re at least giving themselves a chance so ,

My favorite part about Mamdani's campaign is that it is based on building coalitions of voters, not politicians or blocs. He will have a massive base of supporters to mobilize (not unlike the base Trump built in 2016) to bully and intimidate the people who stand in the way of Mamdani delivering what he promised. This hasn't been seen from the Left since FDR (arguably LBJ). Mamdani has spent enough time in Albany to understand who the enemies will be and how to overcome them. I'm going to watch his first moves in office with great interest.

Of course not... if you're 10. or if it's a DH. I'm an early morning person, so it doesn't matter to me. I was just surprised when checking some other gametimes and they were already in B of 1st.

They got some but not even close to what they need. Need like 4-5 more events like this to get to full ish

I did a little sleuthing: Camp Mystic is approximately 17 miles NE of the South Fork headwaters. That's by road, though. I don't know how much different the river distance is. At any rate, that's not real far. I imagine the flood surge arrived pretty quickly after forming, and was an accumulated volume of water cover who knows what length of the river. But yes, there should be an automated warning system. A few minutes could have made all the difference. It would make even more difference for the camps and other sites further downstream that got clobbered.

Texas A&M Recruiting 2026: The World's Drunkest Elk

Maybe give them credit when they do something on the field. They've recruited at a high level very recently and have had absolutely nothing to show for it. -
Well, I'm sure they would make different choices in hindsight. I think it is worth noting that the owner of Mystic died trying to save campers, as did Jane Ragsdale owner at Heart O' the Hills.

According to KXAN, at least 1 dam above Lake Travis is now closed... can't remember which.

Wrong. In addition to thoughts and prayers, we never forget.

Sabalenka screaming sounds like someone stepped on their cats tail.

the stations are already there, with historical data to back it all up set up sirens tied to a network, using solar and batteries. *does abbott and patrick have the balls to use solar and batteries defying their orange god ?

RIP ygifs/Lobo. He would have loved this joke ❤️

I don't think Mamdani did anything wrong and I like and support the guy. But there will be no reflection from the far left as they fend off attacks they would (and will) absolutely use on Buttigieg and other younger Dem politicians. This is the first time DSA people have felt the wrath of oppo research with an up and comer candidate. Zohran is a much bigger deal than when AOC was running back in the day.
-
They believe that they are in war to save America for God and White People that we started. If you lose battles or have a few shitty generals, you don't abandon your side no matter how void of any rightness it may be. It's why they're winning.
-
Lol I mean, we could sit here and throw dirt on them, but hey—they’re making it happen. Will it be another Jimbo situation? Who knows. But they’re definitely recruiting at a high level, even with their mediocre past records, and they’re heading in the right direction. Honestly, that mediocre roster probably freed up more money. Gotta give credit where it’s due.

Explain all you want, but I'm focused on his "approach" and not "likelihood of policy success". His likelihood of policy success is very dependent on changes in Albany. You might think that the policies are ridiculous, but the approach is what is critical to me in deciding whether I, a Dallasite, is comfortable with the national press coverage of NYC race.
