  1. Past hour
  2. Also, the fact that other employees were there makes me think they were an item at work. If your CEO is going to openly have an affair around other employees with the head of HR, yeah, fuck him, he's an arrogant dumbass.
  3. There is, broadly speaking, a massively growing lack of accountability, not just in this case, but in politics, social media, and just about everywhere. I've made mistakes, a lot of them. I own them. They are mine. Some of them were "public". I took that too. A lot of people are tired, in broad strokes, of others taking no accountability. Moreso, when those people are the very epitome of white wealth and privilege. When two such examples of people do so, in conflict with social and corporate morals/norms/standards/expectations people are absolutely going to react.
  4. Wow, new meaning to the term "boy shorts". Gundy will most likely laugh, cash checks, and dare them to fire him.
  5. You got that part right.
  6. hu·bris /ˈ(h)yo͞obrəs/ noun excessive pride or self-confidence.
  7. you gotta give it up for the bitch line, quinnie
  8. If I was having an affair, I'd be paranoid about taking her to a small restaurant in Dripping Springs, let alone a fucking music concert with tens of thousands of people.
  9. Its not, I just have an opinion about it. I didn't say anyone couldn't say anything idk why y'all act like I'm shutting down the thread
  10. You could post this to any number of threads on this website and it would ring true. Not sure why this incident is a bridge too far for you.
  11. Finally, some diversity in that office ...
  12. That's why I said they (well he, she was apparently divorced already) need to go the route of "I was not happy in my marriage, and I'm going to do the right thing and divorce my wife and be with Kristin" route. That takes it out of the midlife crisis realm and into the middle-aged people unhappy in relationships realm.
  13. And for over 60K other people, it didn't. So it's almost like going to the concert was not the issue here.
  14. You're missing a big part. You're a techbro CEO, you go to a Texas game with your CEHR. For fun, she brings her VP of HR. You kindly invite BurntEyes cause the VP of HR is pretty damn hot, you're a nice guy and know BE is thirsty. You leave Mrs Brisketexan at home, cause she's no fun to tailgate with and graduated from aggie. Camera catches BE picking his nose at the game, VP HR clearly avoiding him and then you fondling your CEHR. A terrible time is had by everyone.
  15. Some of you would change your minds if it was you, it's funny, but wishing people you don't know ill is fucking weird.
  16. There’s going to be a much more comprehensive post on my travels in Germany and Austria over the last couple weeks forthcoming. But as a quick teaser, here’s my view from my hotel in Salzburg as I enjoy a bier and clean out some emails. I hope everyone has a lovely Friday. Tchuss.
  17. where is the hunt gauge located? does it measure both the south fork and the middle fork after they merge? or just one or the other? what is the elevation of the river at that gauge?
  18. Another good day for #OnleyFans
  19. 76 Yard TD RPO to Moore
  20. Do you really think that in that instance the Coldplay guy was thinking "I'm about to put this guy's shit on blast" or do you think he was making a joke in the heat of the moment? You're ascribing waaaaay too much thought to what went down there from the Coldplay perspective. The hot chick who posted it said she did it because she thought it was kind of funny, she didn't know who those people were or that they were ACTUALLY having an affair. At the end of the day you can't control what you can't control. What the CEO and his HR sidepiece COULD have controlled was 1. Not fucking around and 2. If you are not going to do 1 not taking it out in public before they were ready to take it out in public. Everything after that is fuck around and find out.
  21. Sorry to interrupt whatever the fuck is going on here, but I've spoilered an update from Bucknuts regarding a few OSU positions. The DT note is very telling. They're lacking depth there, Kanu leaving didn't help them at all, and they're going to have to go with odd fronts at times due to the problem. Ohio State has a stacked roster because they recruit as well as anyone, but the roster is overly stacked in areas of focus by Day, for instance WR, CB and Safety. They under-recruit OL and they've not done as well with depth at DT over the last few cycles either. OSU has 3 points of weakness heading into the game against Texas, and all can be exploited by this Texas team: 1) QB - They don't lack for QBs with 5 star ratings, but they lack experience and the offseason reports aren't great. Sayin is not a running QB, so watching him try to get his shit together against the Texas front in 43 days should be fun to watch. 2) OL - They're replacing 4 OLs. OL has never been a strength for them under Day and now they're patching together transfers and homegrown youth. Not having 2 NFL ready RBs behind them and a 5th year QB playing behind the new OL isn't going to help much. Again, the front 7 should be hell on earth for these guys come 8/30. 3) DT - Discussed the depth issues already and there's more in the notes below. They have 2 excellent DT starters, but they're really thin behind them and they're in trouble if they're pushing those guys for 50+ snaps in 80+ degree weather.
  22. What, specifically, are you talking about? Jesus.
  23. Yea, bilateral edema alone in someone his age isn’t all that uncommon and a lot of the time can be attributed to just being an old fat lazy pos. Even the more sinister underlying causes wouldn’t kill someone of his status/resources fast enough for my liking. But, here’s hoping he throws a clot post haste.
