Gonna need a lot of help filling this out, but this is my attempt at a reset on Tuesday afternoon RB - Need 1 or 2. Baugh and Brown from Louisville were thought to be top choices but ended up re-signing with their current teams. Lots of smoke regarding Raleek Brown from ASU, but he's more of a change-of-pace back. Not many names yet regarding a between-the-tackles type to compliment him. WR - Need 1 or 2. Waiting on Cam Coleman (along with aggy and Tech). Tre Richardson from Vanderbilt might be a plan B? TE - Got Masunas from Michigan State. Probably done here. OL - Need 3. Most serious candidates seem like the Michigan duo. Passed on the Wyoming guy and no interest in the NDSU guy. Apparently we're talking to Patrick Kutas from Ole Miss. DL - Need at least 1 NT-type. Got Geffrard from Arkansas. Also talking to Zion Williams from LSU. He's less ready to play than Geffrard and would be more of a developmental piece. Same for Simpson from Miami I think? DE - Not a huge need, but they'd take a guy. Some smoke with Jayden Woods from Florida. Kenny Owozulu from UTSA visited. LB - Need at least 1. Top candidate is Alliegro from Wisconsin. CB - Not sure on need. Mascoe from Rutgers visited. S - Not sure on need. Edwin Joseph from FSU visited. There was some talk of trying to bring Derek Williams back. Not a player for Koi Perich, apparently. Specialists - Already got a K, P, and LS committed. Jeff Banks is hitting the beach.
I did everyone a favor and followed the www.BeyondTexas.com URL that is displayed on that London bus advertisement. And everyone here should be glad I did, because it redirects to the least surprising and yet most aggy thing possible: https://www.tamu.edu/beyondtexas/index.html I'll save you the trouble of actually clicking: Much like mocking Tech for their billboard, I'm sure any Brit will head to this link and think "I know exactly who/what Reveille is" right after they see the giant "PAGE NOT FOUND" message. Advertising dollars well spent, right there. Meanwhile, this is how marketing genius gets shit done.
I think I paid $16 a month for three months and then was diagnosed. I wound up getting about 15 K out of it. Sweet! Best money I ever spent, and it was through work - so I did not get a chance to see what other plans with higher premiums offered.
I don't necessarily understand the issue with recognizing that providing housing is an important public interest. Especially from a country who hates and fears the homeless so much. Obviously the devil is in the details but something must be done, particularly in cities like New York and San Francisco and places where prices have just gotten ridiculous. Actually trying to solve public social problems is something we used to do in this country and then at some point decided to stop doing. Time to get back to work.
