  2. Eh..... Friends don't let friends drink the Bayless. That's a Skip rumor and it's never really been verified by anyone else. And it wasn't another HC, it was Al Davis, who in this scenario was possibly trading FOR Irvin. I'm not sure you can trust the source and regardless, it sounds like this was stream of consciousness type conversation, not a real, serious conversation to trade Irvin anywhere. Jimmy wasn't always leaving or at least it's not commonly sourced this way. Can you cite you're narrative? Jimmy is a mercurial personality who always judges his situation around if he was having fun or if he was getting bored or complacent or unhappy. Obviously, the relationship with Jerrah was unsustainable and he many times lashed out or responded poorly to Jerrah always stepping on his toes or trying to bully him around his contract. But Jimmy has spoken many times about his personality and how he doesn't look too far in the future but asks himself about his quality of life in the now (below). The Jacksonville thing was a Mike Fisher story, IIRC. It was about how Jacksonville was interested in hiring Norv Turner for their first HC and the owner approached Jimmy to get his thoughts. Jimmy, in one of his frenzies about Jerrah not respecting him, tells the Jacksonville owner, he should hire Jimmy and Jimmy would try and take most of his staff. The Jax owner, speaking with Jimmy with Jerrah's understanding, didn't like the conversation and never really pursues it. Here's the thing... Jimmy was under his infamous 10 year contract at the time. He hadn't negotiated down it was a bone of contention for the two. Jimmy screaming he'd take his talents elsewhere when Jerrah got in his way and Jerrah always reminding he was under contract and he wasn't coaching anywhere else. In other words, it's a fun and juicy story, but there's no teeth. Jimmy was under contract and Jerry wasn't going to let him out unless...... And remember, it's heavily rumored that Jimmy offered Jerrah 1 more year to go for the 3 peat and Jerrah, getting off cheap in the deal decided it time to go on a 3 decade journey of ineptitude to show real football people that he definitely wasn't one of them.
  3. Obviously, I don't wanna go overboard and suggest that the President of the United States would declare (which apparently he can now) a war on Greenland or Chicago or some other foreign land as a tactic to distract from credible evidence he raped a 13 year-old. That would just be silly.
  4. Especially troubling if it's Ezekiel 23:20
  5. It's very literally an infringement of the 2A in that if the president can force a state's militia to act against the wishes of that state - then it is not their militia.
  6. Speaking of wish casting, that weird nationalist jobs report you were spiking the football about is a bit of a red herring https://jedkolko.substack.com/p/no-native-born-employment-has-not
  7. it’s nearly 30 years later and i’ve yet to see a cornerback as vicious as bryant westbrook. 1 of 1. for the kids who didn’t get to see him, he was a top 5 overall nfl draft pick and had a great rookie year before tearing his achilles, which at the time was essentially a career ending injury. he was electric on special teams as well. just a monster of a football player.
  8. Yeah, im not reading the next four pages or whatever have been posted since this, but there is a big difference in mobilizing the militia to put down something like the whiskey rebellion and mobilizing the national guard to fight crime that is at a 30 year low and happens to manifest itself in one particular form of crime. And I'm not even completely sold on the justification of mobilizing the militia for the whiskey rebellion. We fought a war to rif ourselves of the kind of control that a colonizer uses to take control of the colonists, yet a lot of those same aspects were at issue with the whiskey rebellion. And now we are using the militia aka national guard to fight a surge in crime that is actually a statistical low point... It occurs to me that maybe we shouldn't have passed all those gun control laws that were designed and used to keep undesirable people from bearing arms because it sort of puts some limits on our liberty.

  12. Things Republicans believed in before Trump: -States' Rights -The Constitution -The Justice System -Law and Order -Freedom of Speech -Rights -Capitalism -Limited Government -Reducing the Debt -Russia is America's enemy -Allies should be defended
  13. That's a good idea! Let's insanely assume supporters that were wearing I'm Voting For The Felon t shirts were not unapologetic liars who subsequently claimed "I didn't vote for this!" were operating in good faith.
  14. i always cheered for peete ...
  15. I made the mistake of taking an old Japanese bus from the 1980's from Yangon to Mandalay in 2006. No A/C, dirt roads, no bathrooms, just locals. Took about 16 hours overnight. Brutal. At one point, we pulled over in the middle of nowhere for a piss break. Couldn't see anything. Pitch dark. So I walk about 15 yards from the bus to take a leak. As I'm mid-stream, someone shined a light and I discovered I was surrounded by women all squatting mid-piss. The men were on the other side of the bus. I apparently stepped into the women's piss area. Who knew there was a system. I do remember a few locals there with blue, knock-off OU hats. Doubtful any Burmese actually followed OU football but who knows.
  16. Yep, oddly enough there's usually some Vietnamese name on the channel like Nguyen. The games that are on network TV like Fox ABC CBS NBC get shutdown rather quick. However, the ESPN networks usually do not and can usually go most, if not all airtime-- purely speculating but it's probably something due to YouTube TV vs Youtube that might make it hard for them to pull it down. Only works for college, NFL games get taken down real quick. Also, the realstreamhub site above is great and I believe one of the guys who helped put it together is here on the site as we've DM'd before.
  17. This is terrible and ham-fisted and exactly what I’d expect from an AI “artist.” It belongs on some Facebook slop page for people with brain rot. All it’s missing is an explanatory caption that the sheep represents the viewer. With art, I see AI as the type of thing the worst kind of aspiring artist wants to use as a short-cut. It will be used by people who think they could be artists but don’t have the talent or work ethic to learn the craft or even understand what’s good or bad. Droves of wannabe screen-writers who havesome “brilliant” treatment but is incapable of actually produce a script. And the thing is that the idea itself will be half as good as they think it is.
  18. My cat's turd would do better than this guy.
  19. I appreciate and respect your opinion as a musician and technologist. I think our impressions and opinions are going to be colored by our beliefs to a degree. What is it we believe to be true about humans, art, music-- heck, the universe even. That said, you mentioned Kendrick Lamar and what made his music interesting, I thought it was an interesting application of AI when in the midst of that rap battle Drake used AI to diss Kendrick Lamar by having AI create a Tupac diss:
  20. Allred gets a primary challenger! Terry Virts Former Air Force, former astronaut. Seems centristy. There's some canned messaging mixed in with a little edginess. 5 out of 10. Yawn OK
  21. Yeah, but the woods next to your childhood house didn’t have professional conservators taking care of them. They had teen kids trying to get the pages unstuck by slowly peeling them apart, only to get them stuck again.
