Not a good luck, dumbass. Texas county’s emergency management coordinator was likely asleep Austin, Texas — In critical minutes and hours when deadly flash floods hurtled down the Guadalupe River washing away children’s camps and RVs, the county official responsible for coordinating emergency response was likely asleep at home, the Kerr County sheriff tells CNN. When asked if he knew whether Kerr County Emergency Management Coordinator W.B. “Dub” Thomas was working the night before the early morning July 4 flooding that killed at least 136 people in the state, Sheriff Larry Leitha said: “I’m sure he was at home asleep at that time,” and added that he was also asleep. This revelation that, as a flurry of National Weather Service alerts sounding increasingly dire warnings came in, the key emergency official in charge was likely not awake to receive the information – has not been reported before.

I am tired of pandering to old men who yell at clouds. Free markets baby. Keep all the bag men out in the open and keep it all legal. All these idiots in the NCAA and elsewhere adding unnecessary rules to the new world are just going to create a new under the table system. And then they'll try to police the mess they made to justify their own existence. Get the fuck out of the way. -
I got Cher's book from the public library. IDGAF about her childhood, so I skipped all of that. I was interested in the part where she started singing, met Sonny, started hanging around Phil Spector, and married Allman, Simmons, etc. It was "good". Not great, but good.

The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon." DJT: "What is the deal with college athletes getting paid so much?"

Surgery a week from tomorrow using the DaVinci robot. Videos of the surgery are pretty interesting. I hope it's as easy as the doctors say.

Nobody will stop the bags. They are happening. It's fucking stupid that folks have the inclination to try and stop it. They ain't, regardless of stripe. -
Other than the meth sounds like just grabbed what was probably a lot of everything that would normally be around the house. Plenty of people do that by swallowing a bottle of acetominophen....don't really need anything fancy.

Csb The RRISD sax “technique teacher” when I was in MS and HS was friends with Denis DiBlasio, the bari sax player for Maynard Ferguson. I, too, was a bari sax player. DiBlasio was in town and agreed to play in with our HS jazz band. Denis had an idea that we’d do a cross handed thing where we were both playing both saxes. I did not pick it up the first time and he concluded “screw it, we’ll do something else.” Anyhow, we played Coconut Champagne - I did the first solo - he played a 2nd solo for about 5 minutes. He was sensational. I was a high schooler who was afraid to fuck up in front of a famous person. Wish I had cared a little less about that at that time. Another time, Maynard played at Westlake high school and we all got to meet him. He’s more impressive in person that on his records. /csb Another trivia nugget - Gregg Bissonnette was the drummer for Maynard at that time. After, he was drummer for David Lee Roth, Joe Satriani, Andy Summers, Steve Lukather, Steve Vai, among many others. https://youtu.be/hGQWCR6jFZ4?si=HWAGsJ7jymc6Jgc-
