I wonder which position this cycle will be the “we may have to tell some guys no” only for us to not end up with any of the top guys. -

Nice. That's great to hear. He was really coming up big later in the season and he's a very good TE that I believe needs one more season to get on the same page as Arch. He has the talent, so in a way I hope he gets good feedback and gets to live his dream, but then I also want him to come back because he can do so much damage. Whatever Sark is doing, he's on a mission. He doesn't seem lackadaisical and is getting after it. He knows it's time for Arch to take that next step. We hcw the pieces around him for receiving, we just need to find a RB like Lacy or Baugh to pass block, pass catch, and rack up murder charges. -

Texas Recruiting Notes 2027: I remember watching his dad play

I mean.... DC has a lot of good football players. They usually get one to a few to a blueblood every year, and their suburbs are quite talent rich. We just don't usually recruit there because of the distance, bigger cultural divide as opposed to Arizona/Colorado/SoCal and because the B1G schools already own most of the relationships. -
ND needs to be blackballed until they join a conference

Yeah, dirty old Bill calling their bluff and telling them to release it all was definitely not what they expected. This whole exercise has been a master class in how to look and act extremely guilty beyond the shadow of any reasonable doubt.

The endries thing is super simple. He wants to declare, but he doesn't wanna go undrafted or get fucked into the irrelevant rounds. If he hears feedback that he needs one more year he's coming back, and to Texas - he's not considering another destination and neither is Texas considering not bringing him back as TE1.

Concur. The per capita is monumentally stupid. It makes little sense, especially if you have Miss with 2 five-star WRs, but Texas, FL, and LA with the same amount or more, all that's telling us is a smaller state can produce elite talent. Great. That doesn't defeat the notion that the other states simply have more, so per capita is for people who try to justify why their state isn't producing like the aforementioned. It's annoying and needs to stop. How many people can even name 5 players from the state of Miss? I can think of two I know for a fact that are from there, and that's Archie Manning and Jerry Rice. Homegrown. I'm not sure about Patrick Willis, but I want to say he isn't from there, just played ball there. I could be wrong though. For some reason I always think he's from Tennessee or Virginia or something. -
Just taking this opportunity to say: Fuck Bud Adams

I have no idea what the first part means if it doesn't mean either (1) expressing empathy but silent as to agreement or (2) accepting their causal analysis. You've been asked this very question at least a dozen times in this thread. You've refused to agree with the second sentence in bold above. Had you done so earlier, the discussion would have been much less contentious.
