  1. Past hour
  2. I agree that Cinderellas don't happen the same way in football, but that doesn't mean March madness is trash. Hell, it's arguably the best event in sports.
  3. Sick burn man, you win the internet today!
  4. It's a little early for bracketology. Good lord. And holy furk Illinois has more Eastern Europeans than Eastern European teams do.
  5. I can’t believe there’s not more talk about this game on this board. It’s such a damn good game. And yes peanut is fucking hilarious
  6. Mosely is soo good at sitting in zones and finding open space. he's the best WR we have at that and it's an invaluable trait.
  7. I actually do kinda like the idea of establishing a reputation of coming after schools who poach one of ours. At least drive the price up on a few of their guys. Do it consistently and you may eventually make schools think twice about how much they offer UT guys.
  8. It’s like you summoned him
  9. Sarkjuggs , you’re aligning with @Helobious
  10. the rest of the developed world is going to leave us behind faster than we can blink.
  11. Yeah let’s go ahead and not debate Mosley anymore. That’s just a debate of stupidity. We only saw him for barely half of the season and he made some pretty important catches.
  12. You should get your eyes checked if you came away with the impression that Mosley was bad. He has been a very bright spot since coming back from injury.
  13. Cold hard truths. My family has been here since it was Coahuila y Tejas, you fucking newcomers. And one of my dad's first jobs was driving shuttle vans to get braceros (migrant workers) to farm work sites in S. Texas in the early 50s. Raging against hispanics in America is as fucking stupid as raging against descendants of englishmen in America. We were here at the inception. And we've kept coming, just like the English, and Germans, and Irish, and Chinese (oh, remember - we hated the FUCK outta them too. And the Irish. And the dirty dagos. Sense a pattern here? Lazy xenophobia much?). What I love about this reactionary "MUSLIMS ARE EVIL AND WE HAVE TO EXPEL THEM ALL!" is that it is literally identical to....the shit that islamofascists say and are demonized for. "JEWS ARE EVIL AND WE MUST EXPEL THEM FROM THE HOLY LAND!" And according to our right-wing thought leaders, the right response to the fact that a small percentage (seriously, it's a very small percentage) of muslims are of the "we cannot tolerate the infidel and must use violence against them" variety is.....to act exactly the same fucking way AGAINST them. Personally, I say we expel all hateful assholes. That way, we get to boot both islamofascists AND Christofascists. If we got to put an islamic terrorist and Tommy Tubberville on the same plane outta here, it would be a massive win for society.
  14. Moseley was a nothing sandwich at WR, they could’ve gotten the same production by taking me in the portal. We need actual playmakers at WR, guys that can stretch the defense, create space, and fight for/catch contested (and open) passes. We don’t have that.
  15. His newest film about aliens. Release Date: June 12, 2026 Official Teaser: https://youtu.be/UFe6NRgoXCM?si=sgJUVqi-9aaMHJrG

  16. Yeah they were Mikasa stoneware from the 1970s. Not sure what store sold them but they were prolific.
  17. I thought it was too long. Still enjoyable. The original all of the characters were epic. Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, JLC, Plummer, and Collette all killed it. The sequels the peripheral characters are pretty flat.
  18. Went on a bit of a ticket spree yesterday and have a bunch of stuff lined up. I have a couple of tribute shows up first. 19. That's not new for him. He frequently speaks in the third person when talking about what someone else thinks or has said about him.
  20. What is a circle beard? I'm not sure I really want to know.
  21. yes
  22. PLease don't take offense, but I'm going to repost the exact thing I said before, which you quoted, and put some things in bold. Forcing the entire working population into solutions optimized for "the poor" is a huge problem for the Democratic party in general and was (along with fealty to employer groups) the primary reason they couldn't get ever get healthcare right, not Republican opposition. I said: "It's worse than that. Americans buy the wrong insurance for everything. People should be choosing the highest deductible plans they can afford, because the more they insure, the less they get for their premiums. The worst aspect of ACA is that it eliminated catastrophic-only HDHPs and required all plans to cover this huge range of routine, predictable expenses you should be using an HSA for. Most people at professional income levels do not need vaccinations, routine checkups, or even generic and low cost meds to be "free", but I'm forced to prepay for those things with insurance, which is just a handout for the carriers and PBMs." Insurance is a risk management product. It is simply dumb to require people who CAN afford the group discounted out of pocket cost of routine, predictable events to prepay for them through a middle man. It's like using car insurance to pay for oil changes and tire rotations. The entire point I was making is that people who don't need to pay for things like flu shots on a biweekly installment plan (which is what our healthcare plans make us do) shouldn't have to.
