Even in the happiest of happy endings from this 10 year nightmare that are in the realm of possibility, none of them are going to face any substantial legal punishment for their actions. Best to get that out of your head now.
I can't even begin to explain how happy it makes me that Bill Ackman is going full collaborator. I'll help console and re-educate his wife once he's been executed for his crimes.
I don’t think it’s hate- it’s just a tribal affinity like wearing a longhorn cap. They say the words and post the memes and vote Republican the same way I wear an orange sweatshirt. They’ll say really over-the-top offensive shit in mixed company, and then get very hurt and surprised if anyone gets offended. “I didn’t mean you,” they say. “Why can’t we respect each other’s views?” Inside their world that makes sense, because why would you be offended by a shirt. It’s like January 6th. Was that an attempt to overthrow the government? Or was it just a pep rally?
martinelli can’t score from point blank range. 🤦🏼♂️ noni draws a penalty! looks like he’ll be the one to take it. he misses it wide. pretty terrible attempt.
Literally speaking, yes. But a whole shit ton of IU's "transfers" followed their coach from JMU. Yes, Cignetti has been good in the portal, notwithstanding the JMU players, but they are "quality depth" and long-term developed under Cignetti. Not necessarily something Cignetti or anyone else can repeat on the regular.
Gonna quote myself like a douche, because I think one thing this anecdote illustrates is that there are often multiple ways to address a problem. My problem was "how do I get acceptable mixes in a shitty room?" Well, one way is to make my room not shitty. Make all the physical changes that need to be made, which might include needing a completely new room without hard and poor limitations. The other way is a software solution, that Waves plugin in this specific case, which is usually much cheaper and faster. Is it as good as actually incurring the expense and taking the time to make the space I mix in not shitty? Absolutely not. But it is an acceptable compromise for me (YMMV) at a much cheaper cost in money and time that would otherwise be spent making music.
If the credit card companies comply with this request, it will be coupled with a drop in credit limits. They might even charge a fee for being over the credit limit if you carry a balance. And what about car, payday or personal loans? Those lenders will keep their heads down but why shouldn’t they be included in this request/order? As to why, we’re seeing scared Trump. Most of his actions over the last year are unpopular. This isn’t good for a populist president facing a large legislation election in 11 months.
