  2. Big spikes help alot and I'll always love it when I see it, but there's capped upside to the fund when you blow through the weekly contracts and can't get them sold before busting. If you could go up to the edge of the lowest contract's strike price and sell out of the money on Friday afternoon, that's a great week. On days when there's a small loss or underlying is flat, you usually do a small percentage better as the time premium kicks in on the time decay of the contracts. If the underlying shoots up and has a 8-10% day, I'll take that as well but you get diminishing returns. It makes more sense to view the investment like a weekly football game that you already sunk your money into, and after 4 weeks you calculate your net results. If the funds live long enough, you will make house money. Some will be a long wait, some may do it in under a year. TSLY has been a wild ride that I'm glad I'm not on, but I'm also in on CONY which is their fund that has a Coinbase underlying and it's been maddening.
  3. There's one. That damn Sam call in top 1 still hurts.
  4. The name of that tune? "Sod Off! You Turgid Fetid PeachWeasel"
  5. Have to get something here. Do not waste this.
  6. Wait . . . what just happened?
  7. I think if we’d have switched special teams with Georgia we’d have won both those games. They just dominated us so thoroughly in game 1 that it led to all sorts of problems that really did us in. Maybe that wouldn’t have been enough to win game 1 but they were awesome and we were terrible. Standard competence on ST and we win the title game.
  8. So now we are making fun of the illiterate? Damn.... Oh well. So you will be posting pictures of the devastation at what time?
  9. My folks are in Kauai. They were headed to a boat excursion but it was cancelled and they all evacuated back to the hotel in Poipu. They’re safely in their 5th floor room. Said they were moving guests from the first three floors up higher.
  10. Someone cue up the music from Carmen.
  11. Yeah, the text said that, but the lady on the live coverage misspoke.
  12. This is what I see on that link. Tsunami waves of between 30cm and 40cm have hit parts of northern Japan so far, with authorities warning of larger, subsequent waves.
  13. thank god. Thought I had to make a light night TP run. Reminds me of some gal who posted on our old local car message board when Katrina hit and told us the story how she was at her boyfriends parents house discussing how they might need to take action if Katrina followed the Mississippi river up the country and hit MN/ND. she was serious too
  14. exactly. Again, I sat and watched and giggled. I knew some of the guys on advance teams. No one would have a clue who they were. Walking around HEB (it was open), getting supplies, etc. Rubes I tell ya, RUBES!!!! Best part was a Mi-24 was brought in. No one thought anything about that.
