  1. Past hour
  2. Yea putting my tin foil hat on curious how the syntax lines up with his discord messages. Also just weird wording in general for someone holed up waiting for things to clear after murdering someone. But, this is also not a normal individual we’re talking about
  3. The best Arch pass of the year was to NOt going 5-7 with this defense and talent. I honestly think they will turn a corner. This is not Swoopes wiht a dogshit line and horrible secondary and special teams.
  4. *a
  5. Trump was asked a very simple question today about Pam Bondi saying they would go after hate speech. Trump went on a rant. "We're going after people like you. You have a lot of hate in your heart. Maybe they'll have to go after you next." The President of the United States said that today, unprompted, for no reason at all, to a reporter asking him a question. "Maybe they'll have to go after you next."
  6. I agree that AISD is fucked. Only way out is fixing recapture and that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. They are being set up for a state takeover and that will speed up the decline in enrollment, especially at the higher end schools that can take advantage of vouchers. The lower end will continue to get whittled away by charters. I feel the district has been dealt the most unfair hand of any district in the state. However, that does not absolve the district of terrible leadership over the last 10 years. Cruz had no idea how to put large scale systems in place. Elizalde was the nail in the coffin by running off most of the competent, long-term staff then bouncing to Dallas. They had to hire a home grown guy just to try to salvage what staff was left. They are good at hiring west Austin principals who work with their involved communities. No clue how to run the other 2/3rds of schools. Not really my main focus with work right now but my company does own, manage and operate charters in other states. Would be hilariously ironic to come back to AISD to run 20 of their schools as charters and give no fucks about what their clown show administration wants.
  7. The very reason we need an OC.
  8. Maybe spectrumy, which also overlaps with some of the social contagion stuff.
  9. I can’t make it out of my house
  10. Generally agree but wrong to conflate this stuff with mental illness such as schizophrenia. There is a strong social contagion component here.
  11. Nice touch with the guy calling him N—hard r at the end of that clip too.
  12. Keens is our go to for steak house
  13. I think you are going Todd Orlando on this. Only thing you have to do is control explosives. That has been the case most of Sark’s tenure. This is one of the weaker OLs and there is no Bijan to make them right. Just don’t let people get behind you, mix some coverages, and you are good. This Arch isn’t the same one as last year, but the best pass of the year was Arch beating the 0 blitz vs MSU. I know he was 4-8 through 2 games on passes over 20 yards. It obviously worse after UTEP. I would rather force the offense to be consistent and efficient, than start blitzing and dare Arch to beat me deep
  14. Ugly win but I will take it. 3 points is 3 points.
  15. No worse than drinking Fresca …
  16. Yesterday
  17. Agreed. Certain local musician made his acting debut in it as well.
  18. It’s starting to be used more in nfl
  19. It matters because it paints a specific picture. It also matters because I don't know a single young person who texts like that, even to their employers. He sounds 50.
  20. fixed.
  21. Why not? Cam Rising got at least 7 years, didn't he?
  22. I guess that makes sense. I have seen estimates ranging from 150-200 yds. Either way that is not really sniper level with a dialed in scope and prone from a roof top. I have an older Mauser werke in 270 with a similar scope range as the perps rifle and it just doesn’t miss. This shooter had some “luck” on his side. I still think he pushed the shot.
  23. More criticism of B12 Refs... Butch Jones long ago began climbing through the college coaching ranks by taking upstart underdogs and generating upset-win opportunities. Jones and his Arkansas State team might have been robbed of a potential touchdown that might have proved the difference in a narrow loss to unbeaten, now-No. 12 Iowa State. Actually, Arkansas State had two second-half touchdowns negated by penalties called by the Big 12 officiating crew in what turned out to be an 24-16 loss. The Cyclones were favored by 21.5 points in their road-trip to Jonesboro, Arkansas,, for the game. Take a look at the play below, which negated an Arkansas State touchdown that would have lifted the Red Wolves to an 20-17 lead with 12 minutes to play in the fourth quarter. "Let me just say: I've been doing this a long time, and we have the luxury of having an iPad on the sideline," Jones, who's won 104 games as an NCAA head coach and guided Arkansas State to consecutive bowl games, said. "So, usually, before I get agitated, I will look at the iPad, or if I do get agitated before the iPad, I will get back to the official and tell them you made a good call. But we have the luxury the don't of the iPad but let's just say that ... I think you know what I'm going to say. "It's really inexcusable. There's a professional level of things, and I'll just leave it like that, that was unacceptable. And the individual who's in charge of their officials (at the Big 12 Conference) worked for me at the University of Tennessee and he's already gotten a call and about 10 text messages. There's nothing you can do. Did that one play cost us the game? No, but we scored twice in a row, we have the momentum, our kids are battling and there's just no place for it in the game. And that's all I'll say. "I don't think he likes this one, and I don't like it, either. I don't see a lot. There was restriction ... I don't see much." Jones revealed that he reached out to the Big 12 Conference office because Saturday's officiating crew was comprised of referee Cravonne Barrett, umpire Rick Podraza, linesman Kirk Mattson, Lark Jones, Jim Sima, Mark Estermeyer, and Fulton Carson. Arkansas State, now 1-2 on the season after tough back-to-back games against Arkansas and Iowa State, faces Kennesaw State Saturday, with the Owls also having Tennessee ties. They're lead by first-year coach Jerry Mack, a former Vols assistant coach.
