They are also focusing on it because that was absolutely a winning message in the 2018 midterms. Trump and the Rs tried to take away your ACA plans and you should vote for us. The message now is Trump and the ads want to make your healthcare more expensive and we’re trying to reduce your costs. -
BING!

She's had a bad day. But it plays well with MAGA, so it doesn't matter.

Fishing Megathread: Looking For Big Girls Who swallow

A few years ago, I remember reading of a guy who got vibrio wade fishing in the fall. The funny thing is he was wearing waders and got vibrio on his leg. -
I may largely agree with that, but it gets a giant "incomplete." Because what Israel SHOULD be worried about is what comes next. Every person - especially young person - that lived in Gaza during this war is now much more likely to be a future terrorist attacking Israel some years from now. I cannot imagine an outcome OTHER than Israel just radicalizing hundreds of thousands of people against it. And, in the process, losing its positive relationship with functionally all of its western allies except the US. I believe that Israel did a terrible job calculating the long-term costs. I see a world where 10 years from now, young adults who were radicalized by the inhumane and criminal attacks on them as civilians attack Israel and its interests wherever they can. Suicide vests on busses, all the hits. And my kids' generation will see the story on the news, and shrug their shoulders with a "well, what did you expect?" The self-inflicted harm Israel has done to itself will play out for decades to come. It didn't have to be that way. But for Bibi and his short-term political survival, it apparently DID have to be that way.

We have a compounding issue. The OL is not good at blocking, which means we're often behind the sticks. When we're behind the sticks, we have to run longer developing plays. Blocking for these longer developing plays goes back to point 1, except they have to hold up even longer. So we end up in a feedback loop where getting behind the sticks means there's an extremely high chance of the drive being doomed.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

Ok, but for the sake of this thread (and my question), it seems like focusing their energy on a topic that could affect 24 million people when about 180 million people get their healthcare through their employers... -
Early returns suggest McGuire is better than most at melding together disparate parts into a cohesive unit.

The broadcast team was fucking awful. It seems like we missed every single overtake. https://youtu.be/GeDPIKZq0eg

Not sure if it's been discussed but didn't we overhaul our oline scheme from zone to gap blocking? If true, strange to overhaul when we've been desperate for continuity.

Agreed, but having mostly poor persuaders in leadership roles isn’t doing Democrats any favors. -
Honestly thinking of Mexico City. Make it into a little 3 day vacation.

Seeing those names after watching the Longhorns season so far just brings the sads. At least you graciously omitted the O linemen.

I vote heresy, belief or practice contrary to religious teaching. Blasphemy is usually some form of verbal utterance I believe both fall into broader category of sacrilege

I was talking about why Democrats focus on healthcare in general and why the public pays attention to the healthcare debate. Also, 24 million people is a fuck ton when it comes to electoral politics.
