  1. Kevin continues to challenge the entire animal kingdom.
  2. I already understand that I also disagree with the overarching premise, but what is a "JAG" in this context?
  3. Last night's poster has a fairly sinister vibe.
  4. Don't forget King Solomon's Mines!
  5. I am in a different one of these (just one is enough for me!) so it's entirely possible that my settings are different, but I would double check your league settings to confirm whether the bolded section is accurate. I suspect that it's still "miss one and you're done" but if nobody goes 2-0 in the E8, then (and only then) everyone who goes 1-1 would get revived. And the only way someone who goes 0-2 in the E8 is revived is if everyone goes 0-2.
  6. I don't see continuing to provide score updates as gloating or dunking on the rest of us or anything.
  7. Perhaps an R8 convertible of some sort? '90s NSX? Lotus Exige?
  8. You're not wrong, but it's a spectrum. If you thought it was a fart but you pooped a little or a lot, it's still a shart.
  9. A fall from a construction site.
  10. The Palou/Lundgaard slicing and dicing was phenomenal. Palou has stolen Dixon's wizard cap in my view.
  11. The overall percentage of Americans who would be an affirmatively worse president is infinitesimal.
  12. I was on a darts team called The Valsalva Maneuver.
  13. Actors are all basically prostitutes.
  14. Don't forget greasy hair (speaking of his role in White Lotus).
  15. I don't think Thai guy is in cahoots with Uncle Lazlo. I think it's just a turning of the tables - she glommed onto Stifler's mom as a resource to launch her business, and now he's doing the same thing to her because she's a "rich American" relative to his financial state.
  16. Yeah, 7 for all the reasons mentioned. Can someone please remind me who is seated next to Armond? Now which seat is the worst? I say #1 - only redeeming quality is being able to overhear Uncle Lazlo interrogate and threaten Black Masseuse. Being within earshot of Saxon and adjacent to Stifler's mom, plus the competitive bickering oneupsmanship bitchery of Austin Trumper and Parker Posey. Ugh.
  17. Her voice and appearance both often remind me of Villanelle from Killing Eve.
  18. No, that's when he bought his own truck.
  19. I almost always fly American, so these are generally restaurants in AA concourses. I would love it if other AA fliers posted their recommendations, too. I have considered making this thread for years, so I'm glad to see it bumped. ORD breakfast: Frontera at H/K is great but can be quite slow, especially when busy. It's also pretty messy, so leave enough time to wash you hands afterwards. Their napkins might as well be notebook paper. ORD lunch/dinner: Publican Tavern. Very close to the security/exit at the H/K concourse. Absolutely outstanding peri peri turkey avocado sandwich. Fries are almost always perfectly crispy. I would eat this meal in non-airport contexts once or twice a month if I could. If another traveler is sitting near me and I can tell that they don't know what to order, I will offer the unsolicited suggestion that they order this unless they don't like spicy food. I can't recommend this sandwich enough. SFO: Starbird - Nashville chicken (non-spicy chicken also available). Bourbon Pub - Crab Louis salad. PHL: Chickie & Pete's - both traditional and unconventional (lobster, etc.) cheesesteaks. Miscellaneous crab stuff. LGA: Soleil Brasserie (on a mezzanine level slightly above gates) - lobster roll. Good, but small. Order two if your clients footing the expense account won't mind. Friendly bartender. Also Hunt & Fish Grill - chicken BLT is often quite good, but very occasionally meh. MIA: La Carreta (Cuban - better than Versailles, but after having lived in Miami for a decade, I find the whole Versailles thing - and most of the people who go there - to be quite irritating...). LAX: Everything sucks. Cole's (allegedly invented the French Dip at the non-airport location) has been going downhill, but it used to be good, and I'd say that it still sucks the least, relative to your limited options. The spicy mustard is outstanding. There's a female bartender who is always so grumpy and short-tempered that it's entertaining, so sit at the bar. CLT: I'm a sucker for Bojangles, partly because I don't live near one. Cajun chicken biscuit. Try it with honey. But it's just fast food. I probably have plenty of other recommendations, but these are the ones that truly stand out in my mind without having to think about it.
  20. Well it contains at least a century's worth of suckitude.
  21. Yeah, just violent criminals. Rockwell previously made mention of essentially fleeing from prosecution or similar.
