  1. Real recognize real.
  2. Texas Roadwhore
  3. I guess that may depend (at least in part) on the life insurance policy.
  4. House could have been full of fertilizer and whatnot.
  5. Perhaps this was addressed early on, but are you married/partnered? If so, what does your better half think about all this?
  6. 1, but only because those rotten, miserable, deplorable cunts at Klondike discontinued the Choco Taco.
  7. This is the first really nice weekend of weather in the Chicago area, so yesterday I took the cover and battery tender off the Skylark, gave it a once-over, put the top down, and found myself a nice place to grab lunch an hour away. Saw far fewer people obviously out for their first nice drive in a weekend car than I expected, and far more convertibles with their tops up than I should have. If you didn't have your top down yesterday (I'm talking specifically to you, slow-driving Boxster lady) then you bought the wrong car. Considered putting this in the Trivial Annoyances thread, but figured this would better reach the appropriate audience. But I did see a cute young lady (think Bridget Fonda in Jackie Brown) purposefully driving a tastefully modified and well-maintained A80 Supra. The guy in the passenger seat looked like the happiest man in the world, and he probably is....
  8. I think in your case, that's probably a Hail Satan bird.
  9. Yeah. I am not ready to quit on this show or anything, and in some weird way, I think the messy incomprehensibility of the plotlines is part of its appeal, but the finale was a bit slapdash. Still like this show quite a bit, but wouldn't argue the issue with anyone who disagrees.
  10. I'm looking forward to hearing how it is perfectly representative of any given 15-hour period at your workplace. ~~~~~ Yeah, angry stepkid was the worst element of the show. Even at his introduction, the way everyone tried to clandestinely give him rubbers was a little weird and awkward, and it only got worse. I agree that most of the casting (particularly for the lesser roles) was very good.
  11. I'm always down for a little snoo snoo - do you have any of that?
  12. You presumably have the upper hand in that you probably found out about him before he finds out about you, but once he does, I'm pretty sure he's going to try to kill you and take over your identity. So just to be safe, you should find and kill him first.
  13. St. Denis Medical is pretty funny. We just started Resident Alien the other day (I think based on a recommendation here, but not positive - kind of annoyed that I can't remember how I learned of it...) and while it's longer than 30 minutes, it's funny and doesn't seem to have much publicity.
  14. And now he has goods on every single person who happily took the bait.
  15. Try this: call me when you have a loaner, you fucking bozos.
  16. Just speculation about how we expected their story to end.
  17. Kevin for president, animals be damned.
  18. It turns out that the big twist was how every resolution was almost completely predictable, with the only possible exception being that none of the North Carolina people died before Mr. Duke finding out that he was in the clear. They missed a tremendous opportunity for Belinda to fall off the boat and hit her head at the very end. Enjoyable show, but unsatisfying finale, and overall, the weakest of the three.
  19. Yeah, I thought that myself, and Mrs. Doom concurred. They looked considerably smaller the next time she was on screen. CryingStillRealToMe.gif
  20. As you can see, I never got around to recopying to get rid of that misplaced darker line. It still annoys me though.
  21. Remind me to pick Jack Black in next year's dead pool.
  22. Hell if I know what's comfortable, but it sounds like we might need to aim further away...
