  1. Have both Zack Moss and Ekeler for one RB slot. Normally Ekeler would be a no brainer but now I'm not sure. Any thoughts?
  2. Also enjoying the series. Not finished yet but will be soon. Minor complaints: How come only some of the characters carry a weapon on the planet? Seems like a lot of the planet is trying to kill/eat you, so why would you wander around unarmed? Any why do some many of the people walk around touching everything they see? Put on some gloves or wrap a shirt around your hand.
  3. Tempted to start Ty Chandler over Pollard this week. I've losing faith in Pollard.
  4. A great weekend in NPI with my son and his friends: - belt sander races at the Gaff - bonfire on the beach - flouder gigging (plus two unlucky crabs) - many hours of kids pushing each other into the pool and chicken fights
  5. With SF, you'll definitely know who is the lead dog when the game starts. But not before then.

Went to P Thai Khao Man Gai this weekend. P. Thai is the chef behind Thai Kun. This place is all him on his own, without the partners behind Thai Kun. It's a small stall inside the Hong Kong Supermarket. It's a bare bones setup, with bar style seating. Ordered Khao Min Gai and it was delicious. The sauces really make the dish. P. Thai and staff are friendly and helpful. Notes: The soup is not very flavorful. The chicken portion is not very large. When they sell out, they close up and go home. So it's a lunch place, not a dinner place.
  7. Agree with all the posts above. The visuals were amazing. But the rest was very okay. Too much copy and paste from other movies. They should have to pay royalties to at least six other action movies. Plot was average while the plotholes were huge. It's hard to stay focused when there are incredible leaps of logic and stupid decisions to drive the plot. It felt like there an excellent movie fighting to get out of an average movie.
  8. The theater on opening day will be packed with 40 to 60 year old dads who dragged their family to the movie. I'll be one of them.
  9. There's always someone who offers you their backup WR for your RB1 and when you decline, goes to the chat and says "NOBODY WANTS TO TRADE!!!"
  10. I'm going to gently disagree. It was a shitty movie that tried to dress up it's shitiness by having long takes, interesting camera angles and colors. But ultimately it's same boring mystery with a "twist" that a 3rd grader could see coming. Characters make stupid decisions to advance the plot and everyone is dumb. For example:
  11. Could be they know something about Saquon's injury that most others don't know. More likely is that they realize Saquon is on a sinking ship (Giants) and want to get off.
  12. Do you know what's important to have in a movie about Jason Statham fighting sharks? Start with five minutes of people who are not Jason Statham talking at a fancy event. Followed by an hour of every action movie cliche possible. Then kill off some non-memorable crew. And then get to the part everyone wants to see (sharks going crazy and eating people) at the very end.
  13. I have some similar WRs available and it seems just like luck if you hit on one of them. I agree with your ranking. Dell seems to have the most upside.
  14. Strongly agree. Steak is great.
  15. Are you planning to stay in Tokyo the whole time? Seems like you'd run out of things to do after a week. If your kids are cool, take them to TeamLabs Planets in Tokyo.

Went to Artipasta a few months ago and forgot to post about it. Had a great meal. Owners are from Italy, they want to make authentic Italian food, etc. Food was a 10. The atmosphere is about 2, so go there for the food. Don't expect fettucine alfredo or crap like that. https://www.artipasta.com/
  18. Some thoughts about Tokyo: - I wouldn't suggest staying further north than Ueno/Asakusa or further west than Ikebukuro/Shinjuku. Too far outside the city center area and you'll send half the day taking subways/rail/Ubers - How do you plan to get around Tokyo? If it's subway/rail, stay by a station that has multiple subway/rail lines. We stayed by the Ikebukuro station and were very happy with the area and transportation options - Some neighborhoods are full of tourists and some are quieter. If you stay in Shibuya, Shinjuku or Harajuku, it'll be you and 10,000 new close friends.
  19. In a new attempt to save Fairfield Lake State Park, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department filed a petition to condemn and seize the 5,000-acre property south of Dallas through eminent domain. The petition was filed in Freestone County District Court Friday morning, after months of unsuccessful negotiations with Dallas-based developer Todd Interests, which plans to turn the former park into a high-end gated subdivision. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department wrote in an email that this step was “necessary to pursue acquisition at fair market value to preserve Fairfield Lake State Park and Fairfield Lake for all Texans.” https://www.texastribune.org/2023/09/01/texas-fairfield-lake-state-park-condemnation-petition-eminent-domain/
  20. Easily the most fun movie I've seen this year. Tense, silly, strange and funny all at once.
  21. He definitely looks like a coach and not a modern day WR.
  22. Seconding this. Weather in March is great and it's not as crowded as the summer.
