  1. Same. The tears were flowing at that point. I bet Jeff Johnson had a good time before, at, and after that reception. The bride was probably involved, too. Well deserved, Jeff.
  2. My wife is a consultant and says the “make yourself bigger” visualization strategy is an actual thing; however, roaring isn’t part of it.
  3. Infant Sorrow is somewhere in there, too
  4. I used to work for a small company in Austin and the owner lived in a nice house in the hills with a great view of the city. One year, he hosted a company party at his place. One of the older customer service ladies brought her boyfriend and they got busted having sex in one of the bathrooms. Some unknown person stole some steaks from the fridge. One of the warehouse guys thought it would be a good time to show the owner photos from his most recent horse convention…the one where he dressed up as a horse with a tail coming out of his ass and was ridden around a room. That was the one and only party at his house.
  5. It’s $5/month. You’d also get to watch For All Mankind.
  6. Love this dance scene with Kirby (Bill Irwin) Bill Irwin dancing on Sesame Street And to stick with theme, Bill Irwin was also in Eight Men Out
  7. We don’t have a timeshare; however, we (my wife ) joined a travel club. $500/week for a small suite in Park City in the summer is worth it for what we paid up front (we also get discounts on Mexico trips). We’ve calculated the break-even point and will get out then. Too much BS.
  8. I agree with you. I grew up in Western NY. Wegmans beats HEB. The prepared foods section and deli counter kick ass.
  9. BottleRock replaced her with Chris Stapleton
  10. I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster and drank pina coladas. At sunset we made love like sea otters.
  11. Saw DMB when they put on a free show In Nashville on the waterfront. Mid 90s.
  12. Finished the book awhile back. I thought it was a great read and enjoyed the historical walkthrough of the Alamo story and how it has developed over time. The authors did a great job of describing the issues across different eras. The David Bowie story was pretty cool.
  13. My MIL is a big cruise person and we’ve done the Alaska cruise with her twice (Celebrity and Princess). I don’t remember much about the Princess cruise because we had two kids under 4 at the time so we didn’t do too much other than watch the kids. Did the Celebrity cruise in 2019 and had a blast. Kids were old enough to roam the ship with their cousins while we worked out, got massages, or hung around the pool (or bars) during the days at sea. There was some pretty good live entertainment at night and the excursions were fun. We had balconies so it was great to sit in quiet and check out the scenery.
  14. Yes; however, it’s not a significant gap. Whaaaaaat?
  15. As told to me by my mother, one of my sisters was flying 1st class a few years ago with her daughter (3 or 4 at the time). Sister let her daughter stand on the seat and throw things around the cabin all the while saying “she’s just trying to play”. Eventually a flight attendant put a stop to it after some discussion. I was not shocked to hear this story about this particular sister as she lived in FL for many years after graduating from high school.
  16. Is there a link to watch without a TV provider? We got rid of DTV two weeks ago.
  17. A don doesn’t wear shorts

  19. Which has the better buffet these days, Sugar’s or Yellow Rose?
  20. Where are the hookers getting banged in the back of a car? Would a true GTA movie be doable?
  21. “Very smart” as defined by his upbringing, educational pedigree, and connections.
