  1. It's the modesty, humility, and the total lack of any overcompensating for *something* that I enjoy.
  2. Why, exactly, is Penn St ranked two spots above us?
  3. We’ve got our Texas football boners back!
  4. I'm trying to imagine Lloyd Austin dancing around in the stands wearing a jersey, and what the maga-world reaction would be to a black Sec Def doing that.
  5. I'm afraid that the griddy is where you score tuddys and potentially with n***** (I can't even bring myself to type that one out).
  6. “Hitting the griddy”? If anyone ever said that to me I might punch them in the face.
  7. I don't think we're saying anything too different.
  8. For the love of god, I would just like one reporter to ask him "If that's true, then shouldn't you be in jail for your past comments on Obama and Biden?" (I mean in addition to all of his various felonies and raping adventures)
  9. Does anyone else think it is absolutely fucking insane that the President last week said that it is illegal to criticize him, and that it is not protected free speech? I mean that really happened. For the guy who ran partly on bringing back free speech, and who declared earlier that he personally had brought back free speech to America. He didn't say it "should be" illegal, he said it "IS" illegal, and not protected speech. Not much of a news story, though.
  10. We don't need much from this offense to be a playoff caliber team. Just basic competency. With an actual semi-productive offense, somewhere around last year, we can win the national championship.
  11. Ok sure Trump's net worth has increased like 300% and he has made literal billions since last November. But the real crime syndicate was Joe Biden's son selling artwork.
  12. I don’t think that phrase works with Tom Cruise. Like him or not.
  13. It would be there no matter what. It's just how things are now.
  14. Everything has to be a conspiracy theory now. We could have video of him on the roof, the weapon, and a confession from the guy and people would still.... oh wait we do have those things.
  15. Weren't those stolen documents, (sigh), returned to him when he, (sigh), got elected president again?
  16. Careful. That’s where you can learn about things like “empathy” as well.
  17. And it had already been debunked 100% by that point. Harris absolutely crushed him in that debate, and he looked like a crazy old man. Didn’t matter, as somewhere there was a trans person playing sports.
  18. Another great example. All Trump had to do was say "I heard she never worked at McDonalds", and that became the story. "Did she? What do you think? I can see both sides...." Instead of "Oh wow, see how unhinged he is? He just made that up out of whole cloth. It's really scary that he's the republican nominee." I guarantee you that he laughs to himself at how easy it is. And it works.
  19. The crazy and depressing part (I mean, it's all crazy and depressing) is how easily Trump wins by normalization. He's sending troops into fucking Portland. For no reason. And everyone is like "Yeah he does that. Anyway...." If next week he proposed wiping his ass with the Constitution and making the US part of Russia, there would be immediate horror. A few days later, "America is still debating whether Donald Trump should wipe his ass with the Constitution and merge the US with Russia. What do you think? Are those good ideas?"
  20. He was busy occupied by doing nothing about all the crimes the previous administration committed. Priorities.
  21. Man I got reactions like that in the days after 1/6. "Cops were beaten for hours. Cops who were trying to defend our Capitol." "Oh please Red Five, it was nothing like that."
  22. They should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and earn generational wealth by playing golf. Problem solved! It's not Scottie's fault that not everyone thinks to do this.
  23. That post above from Trump reads like something we would have made up as a joke this time a year ago. "Secretary of War, Fox news host Pete Hegseth, sending US troops to Portland, ha ha ha!".
  24. I know some Scottie Scheffler types. He's probably a great guy, husband, and father. With an enormous blind spot for what's happening in front of his face. I really don't know what to call it, other than just profound ignorance. To say "He treats everyone like the greatest person in the world" is just Orwellian.
