  1. Vancouver Washington is close enough to Portland that I'm sure he's very familiar with loonies.
  2. Won't matter on December 31st... the cash flow show must go on
  3. Agreed. It seems particularly cruel to put a handicapped person on a pedestal.
  4. It's much older than that- this is just the latest incarnation. Hell, I'm old enough to remember the Satanic Panic of the early 80's, and all of the "stranger danger" worries (when the overwhelming majority of child abductions are facilitated by a family member or family friend).
  5. From El Paso. It continues and is incredible throughout
  6. Not related to Jackson's work but worth posting anyways: Here's the cast of participants: Mark Hamill Fred Armisen Vanessa Bayer Moshe Kasher Natasha Leggero Jeff Lynne Reggie Watts Darren Criss Patton Oswalt Al Yankovic David Gborie Sam Richardson Atsuko Okatsuka Rosanna Arquette Brandon Wardell Ringo Starr Joe Walsh Jon Hamm Brett Metter Anders Holm Dhani Harrison Rupert Friend Angus Sampson Taika Waititi Eric Wareheim Tim Heidecker Kate Micucci Riki Lindhome Alyssa Stonoha Mitra Jouhari Sandy Honig Olivia Harrison Aimee Mullins Courtney Pauroso Natalie Palamides Shepard Fairey Claudia O'Doherty Tom Scharpling Paul Scheer Sarah Baker
  7. At the same time that you see the USPS truck on your street every day, so it's not like it's a "staggered delivery" situation. Hell, those folks were dropping off stuff for Amazon at 6 AM last Sunday as well.
  8. Did he ever talk with you about it? Something like "Son, this world is rough, and if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough. And I knew I wouldn't be there to help you along, so I give you that name, and I said goodbye. And I knew you'd have to get tough or die- It's that name that helped to make you strong" In my opinion, you ought to thank him before you die for the gravel in your gut and the spit in your eye while you're at it.
  9. More like a "very heavy petting farm", amIrite? Also- Who knew Grover went to A&M?
  10. I've been involved in a few crop dusting catastrophic failures in my life as well
  11. Sure, but Jordan died and they still figured out how to conclude the story. Martin's been sitting on his ass and not writing for how long now? Shit, just write down the plot from the show and add some stuff.
  12. That's my favorite place in the Seattle area: https://www.gorditosmexicanfood.com/
  13. I'm not a Hart fan, but his complete commitment to the role made this whole thing for me. Lithgow as Mr. D was inspired. I also appreciated the deviations from the 'script' "He looks 45, but he's only 8 years old!" "Willis- Why does Vernon always smell like weed?"
  14. Lotta folks in Austin use this guy, I've heard
  15. Druids, I could see. Some sects of Buddhism, sure... but worshiping trees? That seems a bit too close to an Asherah pole from the Canaanites... And there's really only one appropriate observance that involves a pole.... two, if you count women with daddy issues.
  16. Meh. It'll just free her up to spout more bullshit with even less consequences, like MTG.
  17. I actually enjoyed the Facts of Life a bit more... Mostly because of Kevin Hart's overacting and the fact that they played it straight about Arnold being a grown ass man
  18. The scene in Walmart with the throwaway gag with the light bulbs just kills me every time.
  19. Ain't this thread the truth....
