Card got destroyed in that game. If Quinn doesn't get hurt we might win by double digits. People forget how bad Card shit down his pants at times and he was treated the same a Quinn is now, disdain. I figured most would figure it out when I combined Thompson and Card together that I was speaking about Sarks first year but apparenlty I misjudged.

If card didn’t get hurt, Texas probably wins.

Let’s not diminish Bond because he’s been hurt.  When he was healthy he was probably our best skill player on offense and our only game breaker.

The receivers in the Georgia game did have a lot of drops but I don’t think it’s fair to say they are meh.

The video above probably encapsulates how Sark feels about Quinn throwing over the middle and why when we get in the red zone we throw low percentage but safe passes.

Ok, ok, so no running, no throwing over the middle, and no deep shots. What's left?

Banks - drafted
Majors - drafted
Campbell - drafted
Cam - drafted
Bond - drafted
Golden - drafted
Helm - drafted
Wingo - drafted

Wisner - maybe drafted
Moore - maybe drafted

Conner - undrafted

Yeah no talent!

I actually think Moore will get drafted.  He will be a star next year.

this will sound weird but I actually like golden better than mitchell

Quinn has a very special ability to throw the ball, but he isn’t a transcendent QB. He frequently struggles to make post snap reads and he occasionally struggles with ball placement.

The best QBs understand space and how to manipulate defenders to create opportunities for their targets. Even if they aren’t a big threat with their legs.

Quinn short circuits when he sees something he isn’t expecting or he puts the ball in danger by throwing into the defender he doesn’t see.

It’s frustrating to watch, but it could easily be worse. I’m still glad he’s a Horn and I’m thankful for his contributions to the resurgence of this program.

This is how my brain felt reading this statement. Great handoff #3

The major takeaway on this play, other than #3 and #26 were on different pages, is that the RT (Goosby?) clearly was holding UGa #10, with a very tight chin/throat clamp on #10's left hand. I don't think the refs threw a flag on Texas, which is just more proof of the SEC bias toward Texas.

Yeah, I know - LT. Edit wasn't allowed... fuck me.

I can say it again a different way if you'd like. I would take Worthy/Mitchell over a healthy Bond/Golden, but the difference isn't huge. All four are legit NFL dudes.

Agreed. This whole new comparison of offensive talent argument is weird. Of course we are really talented. I think the issue for me is that I’m not sure that they are SO talented that losses/failure to win the championship are de facto due to QE’s shortcomings. Some (not all or even most) are saying that and I’m just not sure that’s accurate.

Put this is Texas v Clemson, but this more of QB breakdown between Quinn and Klubnick.

Damn, these dudes cooked the fuck outta Quinn and basically called him a pussy.

And LOL at the corner blitz sack fumble from Georgia that we said he should have threw to Bolden on that slant....exactly what we all said back then but remember @Thatguy said the linebacker could have intercepted it! hahahahah

With Derka in jail what is there even to read at that point?

You, for one.

And there's plenty of (at least mildly) interesting shit, without unending repetition. I recommend it.

Rather have Cade than Quinn is quite the take.

I'd say it's around a push, but Klubnik has 33 TDs and 5 INTs on the year. So it's not stupid.

I mean he’s accounted for 3800yds, 40 TDs, and only 5 turnovers. It’s definitely not crazy.

certainly not crazy especially considering the running aspect but do have to remember that Quinn missed 2 games against weak competition where he could have improved his numbers a good bit and have a Florida type game.  Did Klubnik miss any games?  how'd he do against Georgia?

He did a lot worse than Quinn.  Even Quinn's first game was better.  But, that's okay.  I want everyone to pick against us.

He sucked against Georgia. Like I said I think Quinn is probably better but I haven’t watched much Klubnik this year. Going into the season I wouldn’t even have had them close.

Why? They are both 5 stars.

They are also notorious engagement baiters with no real sources

It's not like Quinn did anything during the last Texas home game of the year to indicate he was leaving for the draft or anything....

But I am sure the feedback he got after that last Texas home game and today by NFL scouts is going to make him return or portal.  OK

Here are some comparable QBs for Quinn. Is anyone taking any of these QBs still in college over Quinn?

First group, 3 are 1st round picks. Quinn won’t be. Maye is arguably the best rookie QB this season even though the Washington QB started off stronger.

As I’ve watched this season progress I’d take Allar and Klubnik over Quinn. Can’t formulate an opinion on Simpson or Brown

Well, I did ask about the ones still in college, not surprised you fucked that up.
