I predict just about everyone who misses the next debate will drop out.

10 have made it. Steyer and Tulsi are 1 or 2 polls away.

ABC News on Wednesday unveiled the four moderators who will host the third Democratic presidential primary debate next month in Houston.

The debate will be moderated by ABC chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, the network announced

The nobodies dropping out and immediately crying foul about how "far left" the party is going just sounds like sour grapes no one embraced their campaign.

"I'm a centrist-y nobody who campaigned on no MFA, no free public college, and how bad socialism is.  Watch out for Bernie and Liz, they are bad.  Joe is good because he's a successful version of my shitty campaign!"

Seth out here speaking truth now that he's freed himself of his pointless pursuit.

Biden is for people who aren't paying attention or are scared

Warren and Sanders are for people who actually have a vision of a better future.

As 99% of the electorate ask, who?

Ah, I guess I assumed the primary was a foregone conclusion given that I've seen he's polling with some ridiculously high lead. Carry on..

I'd say it's pretty shitty at best to be basically deciding who is going to win the nomination from an official Senate Committee twitter.

Probably some combo of "Hickenlooper is going to beat Gardner like a drum, don't fuck this up" and "Let's not bloody the nominee in a slam dunk Senate race in Colorado in a presidential turnout year."

Agreed. Let the primary play out. That's the point of having them.

The DSCC's job is to recruit and rally behind the strongest candidate to ensure you have resources to compete in other places.  Hickenlooper winning the primary = more resources they can devote to Maine, Iowa, Texas, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina and Alabama (I left out Arizona because Mark Kelly is basically unopposed).

the main issue is that we don't know yet if this is good news or bad news.

Bernie suppprters have no respect for anyone but Bernie if someone else’s supporters don’t act super respectful to him/them, they cry about unfairness and decorum.

Them outside continuing their spontaneous, genuine, and totally-not-paid-for chanting with a really great and meaningful message lol

Look, I have zero love for Kamala Harris or her campaign, but what exactly is the problem here? "Shouting over them"? They are in different sections of the building and there is absolutely no sign of a confrontation or anything from the Harris supporters.

There’s no problem or issue or controversy besides Sanders supporters being upset Harris supporters walked out to greet her after her speech instead of staying for Bernie.

In fairness some Kamala supporters have become a bit hostile recently and not just to Bernie.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  Some Bernie supporters have always been hostile so it’s created a bit of a feud between the Bernie and Kamala campaigns.  At least that’s what I’ve been noticing.

I seriously saw a Berner yesterday claiming Kamala has been sacrificed by the establishment to torpedo Bernie.  Can’t make this up.

Nice broad sweeping brush, imagine his supporters doing this to Kamala and how that would play on social and network media. Remember them giving him shit because he marched with McDonald's strikers that were near the Kamala campaign?

Edit: This is also in reference to Kamala backing out of the climate debates earlier which has nothing to do with Bernie's campaign, a bunch of kids from the Sunrise Movement were there as well.

While that may be true, however obnoxious or inappropriate the Kamala supporters were at the DNC meeting, it does not seem like anything from them was directed at Bernie.  At least from the video I've seen.

Been on vacation this week and trying to catch up on the Kamala/Bernie feud on Twitter now.

Bernie's campaign staff has been taking shots at Kamala.  Kamala's National Press Secretary shitting on Bernie and his M4A plan.  Of course each of their supporters follow their leader, so now there are a bunch of nasty back and forths between the "K-Hive" and Bernie fans.

What a fucking embarrassment.

You can hear them chanting while Bernie is speaking. I know you guys hate Bernie, but if the tables were turned you'd be furious. At least have the honesty to admit it.

I think it's funny in a pathetic way (both the "K-Hive" idiocy and the reflexive Bernie bashing here on the Shag).

Didn't hear any Bernie fans chanting audibly during Kamala's speech.

The nastiest people are the establishment figures who abhor the grassroots and fight against them (see: the above video of Symone Sanders of the Biden campaign fighting against a climate debate). The reality of 2008 was that Hillary's people were the nastiest. The same was true of 2016.

1. They were clearly chanting pro-Kamala stuff before Bernie was even announced as the next speaker. You know this. Have the honesty to admit it.

2. I'd be "furious" if this happened to my favorite candidate? Literally nothing malicious happened. Were the Kamala supporters being obnoxious? Sure. Was it specifically aimed at Bernie? Prove it. I see nothing.

3. I like Bernie. Sorry. I think his campaign is being run by a bunch of childish jackasses though.  And the victim mentality about everything is just silly.

I wish for once the Bernie supporters would acknowledge their candidate is an insurgent and understand why their campaign is treated like an insurgency.  They act entitled AF sometimes.  We get it, Bernie is awesome but he plays by a different set of rules and life long party loyalists naturally resist that shit.

Bernie campaign: "We have to take on the super wealthy, corporations, and Democratic establishment. This is a political revolution. We welcome their hatred."

***the wealthy, corporations, and D establishment are anti-Bernie***

Bernie campaign: "WAAAAA! WAAAAA! This is so unfair. WAAAAA!"

You'd be "furious" if this was Bernie supporters, because you guys are endlessly pursuing the bullshit narrative that the Bernie bros are abusive monsters. But evidence of this beyond Twitter is basically non-existent.

Which is it? Are Bernie and his supporters lying about everyone being against them? Or are those forces actually against them? You can't have it both ways. Pick a line of attack and stick to it.

Every candidate should feel entitled to speak at a Democratic convention/gathering without rival supporters chanting loudly during their speech. That's the extent of the "entitlement" displayed.

And it's wonderful when lifelong libertarians talk to me about "life long party loyalists".

No I wouldn't, because it is very clear that the supporters were not attacking a rival candidate in any way.  Berners want to make everything about Bernie.
