Why, do you think we're going to run out of money to pay them?

Hadn't thought of that. I was just thinking these are dudes who can go anywhere. When they realize they have to actually live in Lubbock, they are going to re-evaluate their life decisions. Or if they produce, they'll want to move to a bigger program for more money and better draft standing.

Texas Tech boards are confidant that the No.1 player on Rivals for 2027 is committing to them today at 3:30.  He's from Georgia.  Supposedly, he's also annoucing that he is reclassyifing into the 2026 class.  I can't wait for the melt down on the Georgia boards.

I think it was Gerry who said that at some point (one would think after they are on campus) they are signing 3 year contracts.  They better hope their representatives are actual agents that have their best interest at heart, because someone needs to read the fine print.  You know, in case there's a clause buried in there that binds them to Tech if they are difference makers, and a clause that allows Tech to sever the relationship without paying out the remaining contract, you know, in case they are not difference makers.  Too bad lawyer Mike Leach is no longer with us, I bet he would have a few things to say.
