I've yet to see why Melton was so highly rated.

I think Javier’s illness was forearm tightness.

I understand Cam is struggling, but fuck, Melton's average is lower than most of this boards systolic blood pressure when it is announced he is in the line up and the diastolic for a few of you unhealthy bastards who specialize in the nine inning challenge.

So Eric Longenhagen is the main prospect writer for Fangraphs ever since Kiley McDaniel got promoted to espn and Kevin Goldstein was hired by the Twins, and he fashions himself a swing scout above everything else.

He really likes Melton for some reason unsupported by statistics, not enough for him to be a star but to be outstanding if you can figure out a platoon role for him.

Personally, I tend to hate baseball players with a shit hit tool unless they draw lots of walks, regardless if they are awesome at everything else.

I'd settle for him to be awesome at anything, because I see a lees than average player in all aspects of the game.

You do realize that in your attempt to clarify exactly who Eric is you simply added more and more layers to my I really don't give a shit sandwich unless Eric has held a job in which his ability to whether or not he was any good at picking out prospect determined if he could pay him bills this month and if he sucks he is driving for Door Dash.

From what I can gather, Eric has about as much accountability to his ability to gauge a prospect as the average internet recruiting expert so fuck him because Melton sucks at the plate.

Thanks for the info though.

We're gonna need more than 7 tonight I fear, so any inning we don't score is a concern

As I was saying

With this team, I'm afraid all innings from here on out are a concern.

Dana not getting us any pitching at the trade deadline is killing us

I predict Chas is gonna pitch tonight. Our pen is not looking good and has been used a lot

LMJ 2.0?

I thought dubon was going to miss that.

I am with you, but his smile afterwards indicates he was acting.

Blubaugh has got good stuff, he needs to learn how to pitch, all his pitches have good movement.

He was supposed to trade for three starters?

Gotta score here... but that's not a good start

This team is allergic to productive outs.

Gosh damn, fucking bunt Espada. This team is not built to hit a lot of HRs.

Uhhhhh..........he did bunt. Into a pop fly

Yeah, I saw that after I posted. It was an easy assumption that there was no bunt.

Bombs bursting in air over Baltimore

Definitely gonna see Kinbrel tonight. I've never been a fan, but will pull for him tonight

Need a shutdown inning in the worst way

Got it. Another nice inning for Blubaugh

This might be true, but I’m not ready to pillory him for seeing three starters and Dubin coming off the DL and knowing that they need to be worked in.

I think there’s clearly some other issues, though, like if a recovering starter can’t give you three innings, why are they on the ML roster.

Exactly,  I also want to know how the fuck Spencer broke a thumb in the outfield of batting practice, but that is more along the lines of how Jeff Kent really got hurt and the real story of Carlos breaking ribs.  Berkman already admitted to getting hurt playing flag football and Alou was a dumbarse on that treadmill.

So why did we pull Blughbah? He was settled in

Hope Carlos not getting that doesn't bite us in the ass

You really don't know the answer to that??!?

Heck, I am still mindfucked about the continued insistence of playing Melton and not DHing for him.
