The Colts might have found something in Rivers. It’s very possible the Jaga drop 2 to the Broncos and Colts. Just go 2-1 down the stretch.

They found a steaming bag of dog shit in Rivers. That team isn’t winning another game this year…

They took a damn good Seahawks team to the wire. The same Seahawks team that throughly handled the Texans.

He can move the sticks and not turn it over. That’s an improvement over what they have. Jesus Christ. Watch the fucking games y’all.

Who won, moron? He was 18/27/120/1/1 behind the best OL and best RB in the league…

One of the rare seasons where I don't feel like we are pretenders heading into the postseason.  Our strengths are legitimately elite, and it feels like our weaknesses are becoming less crippling by the week.

We won't be a favorite, but I don't think anyone will be happy to see us in the bracket.

Yep. The Boston chowder heads, including Simmons, are terrified of a Texans first round match up.

That said, I don’t think we’ll stick at 7. Should move up a few seeds.

Does Caley get any credit for the offense yesterday? They got a lot of help from Noel on field position, but the Cardinals defense was poor.

Demeco has to go get Mike McDaniel if Miami cans him.

I think we’ve been pretty fortunate on the injury front this season

Except for the five defensive tackles who are now on the IR and the fact Kirk hasn't gotten hurt bad enough to not be on the active roster.

I knew when they said it was a chest injury that he tore a pec. This sucks.

Torn pecs are a long recovery too, this will affect next season as well. Sucks.

Caserio will trade them away.

He probably will use at least one of them to move up. Mixed results so far, but that price he paid for WAJ was a fucking upper deck grand slam…

GM Nick Caserio has drafted 9 players in each of the last 3 drafts. All, but 1, are Texans today:
Active roster: 19
Practice squad: 3
IR/PUP: 4
'25: Higgins, Ersery, Noel, J. Smith, Marks, Reed, Mertz, Hamilton, Lachey
'24: Lassiter, Fisher, Bullock, Stover, J. Hill, J. Jordan, Byrd, M. Harris, Henderson (not w/ Texans)
'23: Stroud, Anderson, Scruggs, Dell, Horton, To'o-To'o, Patterson, Hutchinson, B. Hill

That means either he’s a good drafter or simply refuses to admit mistakes.

Hah solid post, but that list above is pretty fucking strong….

What are the practice squad rules? Can the Texans sign any DT on a practice squad in the NFL if their current team is unwilling or unable to move them up?!

Unless the rules have changed, you have to put them on your 53-man roster. You can’t (or at least you used to not be able to) take someone off a practice squad and stick them on your own practice squad. You might also have to keep them on your 53 a certain amount of time…

EDIT - Apparently if you want to claim a non-veteran practice squad guy they have to clear waivers first; then if you claim them they have to go to your 53 and receive at least three game checks.

I definitely lean towards the former but will wait for Htownhorn to come in and take the other side.

With one "small" issue with that list.

He drafted 5 OL, and only the current rookie is going to hit. Also, the tweet is wrong there are 2 other former draft picks that are no longer with the team besides the Michigan OL.

Our 2nd and 3rd round picks from the Commanders and Giants are looking great. 4 picks in the top 65 as it stands right now….

We are going to have to shell out some massive contracts soon, obviously. His recent trend of moving back and stockpiling valuable but cheaper rookie contracts is no accident and has, for the most part, worked out well thus far.
