Hopefully, the OL does better as fall camp progresses. At least they're cutting their teeth against a legit front seven.

Good stuff. Hoping Niblett and Butler make some noise this season and showcase their speed on the field.

Yeah the weird thing about scrimmage is well, who is actually good. Yes, we know that our front 7 is really, really good, but is our OL just dealing with a great front 7 or...

Never ending question mark

Defenses are almost always ahead of offenses in camp and the first games of the season every year for most teams at every level.. I like what I’m hearing thus far and expect the offense to take off once we get to the season.

The only Front 7's we'll see comparable to ours this year is tOSU and maybe UGA

OTF is saying wait and see on Brooks. Information will have to come from the SID. Super awesome.

Where did they say this? The only I saw is that Monroe was told from people in the program that all injuries today are minor in nature, as of 4pm.

Burton announced more recently that Emaree Winston is out for a long while due to a shoulder injury but that it happened prior to the scrimmage.

Podcast recapping the scrimmage.

I'm aware. I was referring more to determining the progress or lack thereof for Texas OL being hard to determine.

I forgot which 9.95 site mentioned it but it sounds like Goosby only played a handful of series before being shut down. Same with Hill and Simmons on defense.

Throwing out those young tackles without Goosby against our edge room would cause a lot of issues.

Bobby/Vogel gave an update on their livestream, 30 min ago.

- heard some positives;  left field under his own power; no boot brace or crutch.  "Sounds like it's not the worst case."  Sounds like it's on the optimistic, positive side.

Bobby - "you don't let guys leave without crutches if you think it might be an ACL."  Then said "I'm told he was carted in, but came back later."

Cole Brevard - right back in to finish scrimmage.

Winston - expected out for a couple of months.  What they've heard behind the scenes. (Texas has not confirmed.)

Mosley - held out for an ankle, they believe;  don't think it's anything major.

Lockett played w/ the first group.

CJ Baxter took the first handoff - ! - word is CJ Baxter may contribute more than expected.  Yay!

Baxter and Wisner rotated with the ones.  (Wisner looked more filled out ... )

Christian Clark provided a real spark ... may end up being RB3 (chatter behind the scenes).  May end up being the out of the backfield threat.  Vogel thinks he's the most sure-handed.

Endries/Shannon started at TE; Washington also played with the ones.

(Sucks about Winston - the OTF guys were super high on him.)

Parker Livingtone also had a good day with two catches that went for over 20 yards apiece. On one play, each read the same coverage and made the proper adjustment and hit a nice gain.

@closetojumpinglet me know when you want the jersey

Early notes from IT

Wingo and Livingstone were Manning’s two favorite targets on the day.

Would anybody be surprised if Arch and  Alan Jackson Jr had a strong rapport and chemistry? All of Brady’s favorites were coaches on the field.
