Yall clowns still talking about playoffs need to let that shit go.  This team isn’t making the class 6a highschool playoffs  an entire new offensive line and leadership isn’t walking through the door tonight

I think bowl eligibility is a more appropriate goal.

aggy is probably a loss.  the get a fucking bye before our game and we play Arkansas.

I hope that bullshit November bye shit changes next year

Sack up, man.  We are going to beat aggy.  They aren't as good as their record indicates.  They have a sieve of a defense.  They were lucky to beat ND.  All their other games were home games except Pig, which is weak this season.

I give them credit for being better than they were last season, but they aren't the third best team in college football.  Not even close.

I had it at 50/50 because we are just so bad on offense but they will be favored.  I agree they aren't the #3 team in the country.  The D is meh and hopefully catches up with them on the road.

I think focusing on anything other than Mississippi State is setting up for failure. Both for the team and fanbase.

To clarify, our offense plays like they all met each other fifteen minutes before the game, they hate each other, they were all given different playbooks, and someone drugged the QB.

I fucking laughed.

Ugh. I have to go to Starksville. I said I wanted to see all of the SEC venues, and now I regret it. Those fucking cowbells. It's only Tuesday and I hate my life already thinking about those yokels.

$50 says our seats are right next to this annoying motherfucker.

I hope Mississippi State doesn't do anything on defense that Texas isn't expecting, like Sark said Kentucky did, because that's not fair.

Perhaps lawyers for Texas can send Miss. State admin a letter before the game warning them of legal repercussions if they try any of that shit.

Also, Texas should alert Greg Sankey's office.

Sark does appear to have an advantageous schematic advantage over our rivals schools. Elko is married to those active defensive line concepts the same way Venables is. I remember thinking Quinn was going to stink it up in College Station because we hadn’t been running the ball well. The zone running game tore them up.

Can you talk some more about this? Amidst all of these worthless posts you’ve actually posted something that may have some value.

Yes I want to skip ahead.
Defensive Game Plan for Vanderbilt

Play Jonah Williams and give him one assignment, seek and destroy Diego Pavia.
Make Jonah become Diego make him run the Vandy offense during game week preparations. Make him eat shitty New Mexican food all week, he will become so enraged and more than likely he will become deranged that we will probably need a Psychiatrist to bring him back, but it would be so worth it. I remember COPS from back in the day were always in Albuquerque.

This is 100% on brand and drives me crazy every time I hear it. Sark is broadcasting he struggles to make adjustments and cannot live up to his reputation as an offensive savant.

Apparently when you call for the DL to slant hard one way or the other, it allows for the blockers in a zone scheme to create openings for the backs.

That’s all I got

Below article written by our Fave Bob Davie

https://www.espn.com/ncf/columns/davie/1440703.html

Zone blocking first started to take place back when teams ran an old slant and angle defense. They would line head-up on an offensive lineman then slant the defense one way or another. It is easy to show this problem in man blocking and the best way to illustrate it is to show the defensive end pinching inside. If you are in man blocking and the tackle is assigned to the defensive end, he not only misses the defensive end pinching, but the DE knocks off the guard and keeps him from going to the linebacker

By the way, Sark continues to be one of only a few OC's that usually does not cover his mouth while calling the play. Sometimes he does, but then it looks like he forgets. He really didn't cover up against Kentucky. Can teams discern the call? After seeing the special on the Michigan cheating scandel, it wouldn't suprise me one bit. They were reading lips and conveying it to the defense for call adjustments, all within 3 seconds.

edit: whoops. He didn't cover up.

Burnt Vegetables is known for it and the Stoops shitheads were undoubtedly cheating at OU…

so I expect they had the calls.
