All these educated journalists and psychologists with such keen insight into the inner workings of the MAGA psyche and what is or isn't a bridge too far.

And yet, we have never seen this type of polling before, have we?

Somehow (whether by pardon or negotiated for testimony) Maxwell is on some kind of release, while not in prison.. she is un-alived outside of the Orange Caligula's custody & prior to any condemning facts.

¹& Somehow it's Hillary's fault.

Overall, 80+ percent of Republicans hold a somewhat or very favorable view of Trump.

Meanwhile, here’s how the alternative to Trump is polling generally among adults.

I mean, I hope you are right.  I just feel like when all is said and done, MAGA voters are going to largely get back behind Trump.

Don't do this to yourselves. Don't give yourself hope that depends on the American people not being horrible, racist, prejudiced, extremely stupid cunts.

For the record, Tapper still fucked up the timeline:

https://www.npr.org/2025/07/25/nx-s1-5478620/jeffrey-epstein-crimes-timeline-legal-case

https://reason.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Non-Prosecution-Agreement-1433.pdf

  • The Epstein NPA was signed by in September 2007. Prosecutors filed the NPA under seal at the time.
  • Epstein pleaded guilty to the state solicitation charges in June 2008.
  • NPA was unsealed in September 2009 by a Florida judge.

To his credit, Tapper called bullshit, but it's worth noting that no part of Markwayne's story was in any way accurate - Acosta, a Bush stooge, was responsible for the deal and the secrecy in 2007, and the NPA was unsealed during Obama's first term (though it's not clear he had anything to do with it).

In summary, Markwayne:

That is certainly one very possible result.

But then I remember that it was common for ‘sundown towns’ to exist, for kids to work 16 hour days in factories without any thought to safety.   When my grandparents were alive, there was no minimum wage, so it was a routine for companies to pay people almost nothing- while requiring employees to rent their shacks and shop at their company store - turning employees into virtual serfs and hiring private goon armies to break unions - all while the employers were protected by the bullshit known as “freedom of contract”.

I remember American history and seeing that the klan was so strong in the 1920s nationwide that it controlled politics in many states - and was supported by Americans to the point it felt comfortable conducting huge parades down Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House.   The widely supported Mccarthy hearings that destroyed the lives of many innocent people by innuendo,  abandoned by friends, who knew they were innocent, with their employers bowing to fear and pressure and black listing them, truth and the rule of law seemingly no longer mattering in the face of false patriotism that, like today, wipes its ass on the constitutional liberties supposed to protect everyone.

I am not holding out false hope at all.  But being a student of history, I am not going to completely ignore the other times in American history when things looked so bad that most agreed it was the sign of the end of the country.  Citizens and their government were so heartless, stupid, and cruel that it was the only result possible…but it wasn’t.

This is how this always happens. By next week the polling will be 40/60 on whether a child sex trafficker should be set free. Then he'll do it, and by the next week everyone will have forgotten about it and we'll be on to the next horrific thing. "Mike Johnson, do you think Trump should make the US military use the Statue of Liberty as target practice, as he has proposed....?"

Is the maga base racist? Yes…

Is dotard racist? Yes…

Will they continue supporting dotard even if dotard came out and said he was the mastermind behind Epsteins ring? Yes…as long as dotard continues being racist…

I know maggots that don’t own guns, aren’t religious nuts, don’t own businesses, don’t benefit from any major tax cut….

But they sure are racist, hate gays, and mock the disabled.

As long as dotard continues providing them an avenue to normalize their hate…they’re all in.

The last decade has proven the racism/prejudice of almost 100 million Americans, and the lackadaisical stupidity of almost 100 million more. I can't forget that no matter what happens, and I'm sure the rest of Americans are the same. There's no going back to pre 2016. The fruit of knowledge has been eaten.

To this day I remain gobsmacked by how many Americans don't realize that normal Presidential terms runs exactly 4 years from January 20th (21st if the 20th is a Sunday) in an odd year.  It's an ODD YEAR you fucking idiots.
