  1. Past hour
  2. How far into Russia are those places? The reason is to be understood, but it'd a shame Ukraine doesn't have the resources to regularly strike all the strategic targets inside their range. Like once they got the oil flowing again, hit it again. Rinse. Repeat.
  3. S1/E1: Kids, dryness is your friend.
  4. Russians pose in front of a burning oil depot in Sochi. Credit: X/JayinKyiv Ukrainian drone attacks sparked a massive oil depot fire near Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi, Russian authorities have said.
  5. I mean WTF. They couldn't have put some livestock there for their tests instead? Definitely gives off a vibe of "arrows cost money, send in the Irish."
  6. @immamac is this GruHorn
  7. Just wait until we win a national championship or two and have the next evolution of their buffoonery happen. Then they will be treating us like kings. And chanting sec sec and how tough this conference is.
  8. Private funding is always obsessed with growth above all else, even business model sustainability. When your only goal is growth, and you don't give a shit about outcomes for the people consuming your product/service, you're gonna run that enterprise into ground and ruin everything that made it successful in the first place. It's half the reason I have a career - cleaning up that mess of bad foresight is a very very reliable means for finding work and engagements
  9. Guess what the assassins are thinking...
  10. Mighta removed him all the way from the mortal realm.
  11. The fact that the ball was hit really hard AND right at the outfielder had a lot to do with the ball being in the catcher's mitt well before the runner got near the plate. And the throw was pretty damn good, too.
  12. Wordle 1,506 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟩 ⬜🟩🟨⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  13. Stage presence vs 80s superficiality. Hogan could wrestle as well as Madonna could sing.
  14. I thought Vandy fans were supposed to be more intelligent than the average mouth breathers.
  15. So it's a 90's-00's throwback. You sold me.
  16. Where are you seeing evidence of this on surly?
  17. What the fuck is he babbling about?
  18. Well we did walk into town saying you’re welcome instead of thank you. And helped ourselves to the buffet before being invited to dig in. Which I very much enjoy and I hope they never forget.
  19. So I just saw one of the trailers and I hate to say it look horrible. Jr stuffing his face, farting, and needing a bathroom stat, OK
  20. Why does the NBA need to open their books for anything? What other sport has done that in a player pay debate? The people that see the numbers are paying significantly more for existing franchises and new ones, so that should tell you quite a bit about what the real numbers look like. The NY Liberty valuation was $450m for a team with less than $1.5M in player payroll. That math doesn’t work for the lower pay argument. The reaction to the WNBA players looking for more money (again on the back of a new media rights contract, valuation increases, expansion, attendance increases, etc) seems odd compared to other sports. I’m sure the owners are happy to know that for the first time ever the fans are worried about their pocket books while their investment value continue to multiply.
  21. It's not an issue of "wholesome." First off, Daily Wire is producing propaganda for kids. It might be some truly dangerous psyop shit. This is one of the most insidious features of your team. The educated world does not "indoctrinate" kids, it exposes them to ideas. Your ideas are repugnant, so they require indoctrination. Sesame Street was specifically designed to provide the kind of engagement that privileged kids got in preschool for disadvantaged kids. In other words, free preschool at home for poor kids. And yes, now Sesame Street is a moneymaker, just like the Muppets and I'm sure various other "franchises" created under the auspices of CPB. They in all likelihood would never have existed without a) funding from CPB and PBS and b) airing by PBS stations. Private funding would have been obsessed with whether they could sell enough ads for Count Chocula in their time slot.
  22. If that place really has open gates, she’s going to “walk out” and never be seen or heard from again
