  4. This was my general reaction when Tommy “Wingnut” “Tater Town” Tuberville ran for the Senate. That finger waving motherfucker should not have received a single vote from the Bama fan base half of registered voters in this state. I failed to take the Trump Zombies factor into account. Don’t be surprised when Dotard announces he is naming his Qatari 747 “Donnie’s Ark” and inviting his loyal followers to get on board as he and his family of grifters relocate to Uncle Vlad’s luxury land mega mansion principality on the Black Sea. He finna blow town. Vance, Johnson and the Cabinet will be on the 747. Who’s left to run this nation? State governor, Alphabetically? Yikes.
  5. Either Kemp will call a special election, or simply not fill the seat since the GOP primary for the November election is to be held in May.

  10. This is an administrative stay, which at least in theory is not based on any evaluation of the decision below. But basically to preserve the status quo for a few days for briefing. But it's unnecessary. Nothing is going to change in three or four days. Motions like this are made to a single justice assigned to the circuit. Lucky us we have Alito. For a significant issue, usually referred to the entire court. A three judge panel for redistricting questions is provided by statute but it seems a party does have to ask for it. Appeal is or may be directly to the Supreme Court.
  11. You are literally quoting that only 50% of working people contribute. Think about that and get back to me with the implications.
  12. Is anyone arguing that
  13. You never disappoint, Nicole!

  15. And of course I ran into some issues. It's a 63 year old British car. Amazingly the leaks never showed up when they had the car up north. They put over 200 miles before I picked it up and I have driven it since Labor Day. Noticed a small puddle. Gas. The seal around the gas gauge sending unit is weeping. Talked with the garage and then added more sealant so we will see. While looking at it saw another small puddle. Rear diff oil is also in play. They did all new seals but the quality of seals is lacking. Luckily it looks very easy to pull the rear and add some sealant around the gasket. The garage and I discussed a new windshield since the 60 year old one has a chip. Decided to call it patina and not worry. Last Friday morning heading to meet friends for breakfast. Just got on interstate and a random rock sees the car and KERPOW! Now need a new one. Luckily the windshield is very easy to remove from the support. Not easy to replace the glass. I did it back in college and will not do it again. Major pain to line up interior brackets and new glass. However Haggerty will pay for the garage that did the restoration to do the glass so sending the windshield back to them. GRRRR...
  16. Get a rope.
  17. Mc, would you mind sharing that trail? Looks beautiful.
