  1. Past hour
  2. Compromising definitely cost the Democrats support and opened up their left flank.
  3. Are you talking about when they had to overrule the godawful pass interference call in Austin or when Texas was called for 10 penalties at halftime to Georgia's 0 in the SEC title game. I will hang up and listen.
  4. Ive been to Stanford and Rutgers to see the Horns. Both great trips outside of us losing to a shitty Cardinal team. Tailgating was great in Palo Alto, Texas Exes had an amphitheater for us...our traveling party rented a large bus with a keg for the drive down from SF. Rutgers was just OK, though i traveled with my boss who played in 80's for the Scarlet Knights, so he and his buddies were really a fun group. Saw the Horns vs tOSU in Natty year, enough has been said about that debacle . Went to the Dome vs Tulane, Miss St and a few Big12 road games. Plus several bowl game (Sugar vs UW and Va Tech), Rose vs Bama and couple Cotton Bowls. Id vote for Washington and Oregon...maybe NW at Soldier Field but dont like NFL venues overall for college. UVA could be cool. I wouldnt mind a Utah road trip as SLC is great.
  5. Stupid opinion, we have solid wins and played #1 to the wire. So fuck outta here with that. Secondly, I dont give a shit about the SEC title, only the national title.
  6. Yes. I think the Dems would have done roughly the same in the non-Federal elections during a Federal shutdown. I think the results demonstrate an intensifying trend: Democrats now do better in off-cycle elections. Trump is able to bring out the voters when he is on the ballots, but much of MAGA doesn't care about anything but Trump.
  7. We haven't gotten many calls considering our recent success. Alabama still gets every call there is. I recall Texas getting a few calls last year against us, a thought that was reinforced later when we found out the head official was from Texas and had a son who was a UT alum.

  9. You mean of those who are picking Texas to win? Because there have been many posters here, myself included, who are skeptical about Texas' chances this weekend.
  10. the war could have been won on this, this was the hill to die on. MAGA dies if they don't cave, full stop and in no uncertain terms and with no caveats. That's what Bozo doesn't get.
  11. With the way the game is going and the concentration of talented players at the top, you are going to see more teams with a lot of talent that can put it together for a playoff run but maybe had a less than stellar regular season. Look at Ohio State last year. There will be years where teams seeded lower than them can win it.
  12. Thanks for the kind words. If y'all have any questions about the trip, feel free to respond here or hit me up via the PMs.
  13. They shut down the government for over a month and it cost them no support while the GOP was bleeding. What are you talking about?
  14. Yup. Not going to have a chance for a pick this high again for awhile. And not because we'll be good...
  15. What about library gloryholes? Asking for aggy...
  16. So basically like everyone else on this board. We are not a good football team. Georgia may not be as good as last year, but they are head and shoulders above us where it counts. We absolutely wasted last year, could have won the SEC if Sark wasn’t such a dumb cunt.
  17. I guess we have to tank this year because this is our only unprotected first round pick until 2031. So that's pretty cool.
  18. Let's just ignore the very loud and very clear disappointment from the Dem electorate and many Ds in Congress who voiced their displeasure over the decision to cave. Or even worse, let's gaslight them.
  19. It's a global movement. With a giant megaphone -- thanks, Elon. The day he dies will be one of the most positive pivotal moments in all of human history. He is a transcendent evil.
  20. After Sun goes red dwarf? No still not cool! Post Milky Way merger with Andromeda? Try again Aggie. Long after the Heat Death of our entire universe? Finally, cool, but so is everything else! Advantage Aggie

I assume this thread got bumped because Trump issued an arrest warrant.
  22. This is kind of my point— I don’t think you can find a year where 10-12 is anywhere close to 1-5 or 6. The value of the bye for AZ State was in replacing a potential loss (probability of a loss unknown) with a 100 percent guarantee they would not lose, in addition to the rest, practiced, time to get healthy. If you hypothetically place each game at a true push, they moved from a 25 percent chance to a 50 percent chance of advancing to the semis simply by not playing in the first round. But Texas was in fact a better team than them, and it was never a push. Those byes will be even more valuable and meaningful for teams that are straight seeded into them.
  23. The Taganov Substation is in an industrial area, with a lot of larger buildings. The blurred area includes an airstrip, so maybe the industrial plants make aviation hardware that used to be installed here before the war. My google earth shot from 2002 shows Russian AWACS & Bear bombers on the apron in the bottom of the photo. I don't imagine they keep anything that close to Ukraine anymore. The substation has a small footprint, but if it serves a specific area, good. I imagine Ukraine has pretty good intel on this area. It is interesting the rail siding next to the substation can accommodate a large number of rail tank cars, so specialty chemicals may be involved in the manufacturing nearby, The Saratov Refinery, with the red line showing the line of sight in the OP, from bottom towards the top.The little red fires labelled "11/25" are the 2 big towers hit earlier this month. The Blue and Orange oblong objects are tall flare/exhaust stacks, and I think the Blue one is the tall flare you see in the video. I think the green polygons are choice targets (main process vessels) within the refinery, and it appears they are close/within the fires from the videos. I thought the attack 2 weeks ago took out the main process vessels. It is interesting that Ukraine would hit it again with 2 weeks. Again, indicative of good intel on what was hit before, and what needed to be hot again.
  24. He’s not a great shooter. No arguments there. I don’t know how to define his value statistically. Maybe the more statistically inclined could help me out and pull his career on/off stats. He’s a leader, a really good defender, he’s long for a PG, a winning player, a champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist. If he’s good enough to be on the US Olympic Team, I think the Rockets can squeeze him in.
