  3. The Alamo Bowl has “rights” to the former PAC-12 members (went to BiG10), that don’t make the 12 Team Playoffs. Most likely the Trojans are headed to SA. Even as a homer, the Alamo Bowl has recently had a stretch of being the best attended, as well as the most TV eyes of all bowl games, not counting playoffs or NY6 Bowls. Hook’em!!!
  4. Someone else said it best but it is worth repeating when we were revealed to be #13
  5. Nobody wins in a shovel fight. Well, at least that guy didn't.
  6. Guess they didn’t have room to squeeze #11 onto the graphic
  7. It was just before the Fight Hunger bowl game in his 5th year at Washington when Sark left to take a new job. If Sark coaches in our upcoming bowl game, he will officially have head coached at Texas longer than he has at any other institution.

  10. No matter how good I try to eat (mixed with the inevitable bad), I've been stuck in the 214-220 range for about 2 years now (I'm 6'1, but old so not very athletic or active). It's like a stock in that when I hit that low mark, I hit a resistence that to break through I can't do it. I must have to do something fundamentally different and harder than what I'm doing in just generally trying to be mindful of how and what I eat. And on the high end, as soon as I creep up and then hit that high hat, I get real serious and intentional and bring it back down. But no matter it stays in that box, which makes me think it's all mental.

  12. Here you go Texas, your reason to keep scheduling good OOC Yes, BYU has a chance to play their way in but why should they have to? Why aren’t they already on the 10 line and ND on the cut line? The difference between ND(10-2) and BYU(11-1) that has the Catholics ahead of the Mormons seems to be - ND’s LOSSES!! Keep in mind, neither of these schedules is an SEC schedule so that argument isn’t a factor 10-2 @ MIAMI (L) - #12 A&M (L) - #7 Purdue @ Arkansas Boise NCSU USC - #16 @ BC Navy @Pitt Cuse @ Stanford 11-1 Portland St Stanford @ E Carolina @ Colorado WVU @ Arizona - #18 Utah - #15 @ Iowa St @ TxTech (L) - #4 TCU @Cincy UCF ….ok, I’m a realist, it’s the sticker on the helmet that

  14. I don't give a fuck what they do to go 19-1 over the last 3 years at home. I like winning, that makes the games fun.
  15. No, there will be two of VA/Duke, JMU, Tulane, even UNLV. Texas at #11 still means first one out.
  16. I don’t decide it. The committee does. Get a member on the phone and ask them. It’s been the same all along. They have to answer questions week after week about ranking a sport that has hundreds of teams that don’t all play the same type of schedules. Every year they contradict themselves when the chair has to answer questions every week. But it’s been this way as long as I can recall: “team A was far and above Team B in our view, so we didn’t need to go to H2H, common opponents, etc, etc.”
  17. I'm sure I'm missing some of your logic somewhere - but just to re-iterate, 'bama had back-to-back x2 wins over ranked opponents this year. Two of the four were overrated, but I mean... so is A&M.
  18. We get in if Bama and BYU get blown out in their title games
  19. Didn’t Florida state out physical Alabama this year? That was a bad loss. I understand Florida was a bad loss. I get that they aren’t suppose to penalize being in the CCG but we would both have 3 losses IF smart could figure out how to beat bama . Both of us will have 1 really bad loss.
