  1. Past hour
  2. Long-ass FG for Det coming to tie.
  3. my seat at the stadium had a perfect angle to see the punt, and to my eye it was called accurately. It had weird spin where it was out of bounds but not slicing away, so it was consistently a few feet wide, but consistently so.
  4. lyle lovett fucked julia roberts in her prime in surlyville, that's currency they should put it on the wall
  5. Citrus is the first pick after the CFP, so that’s the one we are fighting Vandy for if we both don’t make the playoffs
  6. Very good for a QB starting for his first season. And he's getting better.
  7. Bad back 7 and bad QB will make it difficult for Steelers/Tomlin to get to 9 wins this year.
  8. It was not over capacity. In the spring, they were told they were under capacity. More importantly, parents were told that portables would be moved into Lamar so that Lamar classrooms would not be packed to the walls when they were going to close the middle schools for this fall. AISD had no problems with portables when they needed to placate parents over class sizes being too big at Lamar. Portables became bad over the summer when AISD needed them to count against schools. Bond money that was already allocated was not being used at BW that would’ve addressed certain issues that were also used against it. Other schools received their bond money within that timeframe, ours certainly did, and a lot of our stuff was not critical. When we drove by BW every now and then, there was one of those big bond money signs out front and then apparently it mysteriously disappeared in the lead up to all of this. It’s a hot mess on AISD’s part and I’m very concerned about the boundary changes that were coming out of that because they affected my kids’ middle school and high school, and because they seemed to have lost focus on the state takeover. And I wonder what else was going on. Moving forward, AISD Needs to be hyper-focused on the state takeover and I’m concerned that they won’t be. If or when the state takes over, there will be more than enough parents who have the means who will move their kids to private schools, and plenty of parents on the fringes of Austin who may not be able to afford a fancy private school, but maybe tempted to move a few miles down the road to a different school district. A lot more schools would have to be closed if that happens, and I don’t see those students coming back to AISD when the state lets it go several years down the road.
  9. It’s so cute to watch folks try their best to explain why we should get into the playoffs.
  10. I doubt there would be a dry spot. Relocate for the Netflix and chill part of the date.
  11. If had beaten Florida (not the #1 team on our schedule), we’d be going to the playoffs, most likely even with a 3rd loss to A&M. Because we did not, we most likely don’t make the playoffs, even after we beat them. That’s the situation.
  12. Unless I'm misunderstanding what's being said, all the NY6 bowls are playoff games now. This year the Rose, Sugar, Cotton and Orange Bowls are the CFP quarterfinals, and the Fiesta + Peach Bowls are the CFP semifinals. The most presitigous bowl game outside of the CFP is probably the (Cheez-It) Citrus Bowl, which theoretically matches the top non-CFP Big Ten team against the top non-CFP SEC team (although in reality we know the SEC picks and chooses bowl matchups, so it could be anyone).
  13. And irrelevant according to the current brain trust.
  14. I wish they would quit showing closeups of mahomes barking the signals. Yellow teef
  15. Im a hard NO to all of that so thanks for the heads up
  16. That’s ok though my opponent is tripping over his own first place dick
  17. 4th down coming up. Steelers don’t look very good. 4th & 9. 2:01 to play and Steelers going full-pussy and punting.
  18. You sound like a giant non-competitive beta male pussy. Beating A&M is and always will feel awesome.
  19. omg Homeboy just destroyed his balls
  20. My first game at Kyle Field was in 1981, when I attended as a LHB member. We watched the "corp of cadets" parade from our busses, and I remember thinking, this has to be some of the most backward, dumbest looking sobs that i have ever seen. Marching in, riding donkeys - holy shit these hayseeds. This was the same year that the aggy "officer" drew his sword on the SMU cheerleader and the LHB marched into aggy stadium holding little cocktail swords. Aggy fans noticed and started raining boos on us - we just smiled and basically did not give any fs. Longorns were victorious that day - 21-13. Hook 'em and stomp a mud hole in their asses. \m/
  21. 83 caught that with his nuts.
  22. Well out with it then. What is that really nasty thing that's not merely a rumor? Although it can happen, a guy like Sark that falls off the wagon usually creates a lot bigger and more obvious problems than those of his football team. I haven't seen anything objective that indicates that Sark is drinking. Pretty sure we'd know. Second, given his history, if he'd fallen off the wagon in the off-season, I would expect him to be terminated with cause, success notwithstanding. Mid-season might be a different story.
  23. Sounds like he just fell down in his bus and split his head open. Altercation was either made up or just a guess based on his concussed/inhebriated state. Regardless, lost one of the great ones. https://savingcountrymusic.com/todd-snider-assault-determined-to-be-self-inflicted-injury-police-say/
  24. Steelers with the ball, down 28-31. Just converted a 3rd down. Just under 3 minutes to play and teh ball is at Steelers 28. They’ve got to get the ball down the field a bit. Jesus, damn, letting so much time off the clock. Down to 2:14 to play. 3rd and 4. Rudolph with a big run but, it’s coming back. Illegal Formation, Steelers. Takes the ball back from over midfield. Ugh.
