  1. Past hour
  2. Fascinating! I feel better now that I know people have been making the same mistake for at least 166 years, to the point where my usage has become its own accepted version of the idiom. And thank you for that site, I’m bookmarking it because I love that kind of thing. Definitely worth a rewatch. I just love that movie. Really scary at parts and laugh out loud funny in others. Best werewolf movie ever. The Dobie Theater talk really takes me back. I lived in Dobie my freshman year and saw tons of movies there. Heavy Metal is one that stands out.
  3. Here’s more fanciful nonsense where they analyze 5 of their questions going into the fall camp, apparently feeling good about each expected solution.
  4. Shipley’s is okay from what I remember, the one thing it had going for it over the Cambodia shops was consistency. You knew what you were getting. That said, I can’t understand being an adult over the age of 40 and eating donuts, even semi-regularly. I feel actual pangs of shame and regret feeding the sugar to tots and grandkids, knowing it’s pure junk and unhealthy. I know I know, I’m no fun at parties….
  5. You can count on that
  6. People keep forgetting that Mateer went 9 for 19 in a game last year against the vaunted Texas Tech defense. We're talking about a defense so strong they held Baylor to 59 points. Anyone who knows anything about football knows Mateer should just be given the Heisman before the season starts.
  7. I think Cam is a G in the NFL
  8. From an Eagles beat writer:
  9. MSTY divvy announced at 1.1835 for this 4 week period ending. Two payouts in August, this on the 1st and next on the 29th.
  10. Used to live across the rr tracks from Mrs Johnson. The fresh donut sign lit up at night was reassuring, somehow. I watched how homeless folks would walk up, hang back to wait, and then be handed a small bag and a coffee. Good folks. Not big on donuts; the best I ever tried was in South Bend, IN. Rise and Roll Bakery had donuts the locals call Amish crack.
  11. Yeah, I guess. I'm trying to remember, but pretty sure there were free refills on popcorn (worked at a couple different ones) and that only costs like 3 cents for a big bucket so not really money leaking out the door there or an easy way to track that like number of containers sold. Guess it must have been the number of voids going up although the guys was only doing it like 4/5 times a day to get lunch and beer money. I think at the time we were maybe just highlighting them yellow and writing "void" on it LOL. Not very sophisticated POS systems at the time either. Ok. Enough reminiscing. Let's money whip Benjamin. Speaking of which, hadn't posted in a long time and noticed my Burnt Ends banner fell off so I guess I need to renew it.
  12. Disagree! I was an inspector for years. It’s a pretty pointless exercise with very little connection to safety.

  14. Why wait? Pre meltdowns are cool.
  15. Today
  16. Yeah. They heard a bunch of texas fans liked Blair Witch. And they couldn't see themselves associating with a university that produce people with such horrible tastes on movies. Who knew the kids were ciniphiles? Please note: I've never seen this movie.
  17. Actually laughed out loud.
