  2. i dont like belichick but i do hope UNC wins for the clemson memes. hiring belichick was the dumbest possible thing UNC could have done and they deserve every bit of this
  3. I don't care what your politics are; at some point, as a parent, it's gotta feel disheartening and gross to have your son's murder be used by disgusting people to grift and posture.
  4. Talking about a show 25 years after its original run. Yeah, overrated.
  5. We went last night, it was a super fun show.
  6. I wish you would consider the parents before you post this shit, because from what I hear, Cade's father reads everything on Surly Horns that you assholes post about his son. I don't know his father, but I hear that everyone agrees that he is really, really great guy. There was a time when his dad (who isn't me) couldn’t walk into a restaurant without folks wanting pictures, handshakes, and pats on the back. They wore Cade's jersey like armor. Every touchdown felt like the whole world was cheering for his father. Now? Every mistake, every interception, every sack, and you have a father who has done everything for his son, because he never got a fair chance himself to be a star, sitting in the stands listening to the hurtful comments and reading this shit on Surly Horns. Sometimes it gets so bad, his father wants to give those losers the business. People used to come up to his father in the supermarket and want to shake his hand. Now, they avoid him and pretend to look away. It's probably really, really, really painful and humiliating. Does his father think Cade's perfect? No. Do I see the mistakes? Of course I do. I get it. Fans want wins, not excuses. But it’s hard when the same folks who once shouted “Heisman” are now saying "has-been." His dad deserves better than this. Much better. Good luck to him.
  7. If my funeral contains fireworks, donation requests, and people giving speeches about how much they hate other people, please take solace in knowing that I am much happier dead.
  8. That is a wonderful idea
  9. On Trump giving a preview of an autism prevention option, how weird is it for a president to gate keep a supposed “cure” by promising to talk about it tomorrow. Didn’t he want to help mothers who might create an autistic youth on Sunday?
  10. The Longhorn in that logo looks cool. Haven’t seen that one before.

  12. I didn't know who this big guy was in the SEZ so I zoomed in and took a pic. Very large human.
  13. Same, I was 8 at about the 20 under the overhang in the OU section for the Stonie stop. I went ape shit, my dad scooped me up under his arm and hightailed it out of there to the Texas side for the Eyes. I got sick as shit on the way home from eating at every stall I could walk to after the game. It was glorious.
  14. I swear to fucking Christ we have had the same conversation about this shit for the last 20 years. First of all, people are never going to quit talking or watching the Cowboys. So it's a dumb fantasy to hope that some day Jerry looks around at an empty stadium and says "by golly something must be done!"
  15. Gerry Hamilton Posted 6 minutes ago Recruiting: The Weekend The Texas staff hosted a number of key visitors Saturday, and of course the returns have been extremely positive. This morning, we will talk about the 2026 prospects of note in attendance. Derrek Cooper's OV ... It's very rare when an OV doesn't go well, especially one in which a prospect is the lone official visitor on campus. Two sources informed OTF that the visit went very well, with Cooper and family. Cooper spent time with Texas players from Florida (Baxter, Myron Charles and Jaime Ffrench). Texas only strengthened the position over the weekend. Does that mean Miami will give up? Nope. Does that mean Cooper won't take in another college game in the Sunshine State this season? Nope. OTF also believes Cooper will be back on campus in November, or right before signing day the first week of December. James Johnson ... This is a repeat of Cooper. Johnson wants to do something different that stay in Florida, as of the last year and currently. Miami is all in on trying to flip him, to be clear. Johnson has already turned down staying in state twice in the process. Johnson spent a lot of time with buddy Myron Charles. The two guys grew up close to each other and are friends. Seeing Charles get extended snaps was a positive, along with the game day experience. Corey Wells ... Wells, his brother (South Alabama linebacker commit Chris Wells) ands mom were in town over the weekend. They didn't leave until Sunday afternoon to head back to Petal, Miss. OTF hears the visit went very well. The feeling is the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder wants to be at Texas. This was his first game experience at Texas, and the entire family loved it. Auburn has told the family that they would take Chris Wells. That's what makes this recruitment sticky. On the Texas side, Chris Wells has a spot at Texas - should he want to be in Austin. It would be the same as Jordan Coleman, Devin Coleman and Isaiah Coleman in the 2025 cycle. It was good for Chris Wells to see Isaiah Coleman on the field late in the game Saturday night to know what's possible. Auburn is working to get the family back on campus, and Ole Miss is trying to hang around the rim too. Current Michigan State linebacker verbal Braylon Hodge ... The 6-foot-3, 212-pound rangy linebacker out of Cherry Creek High in the Denver area had a tremendous unofficial visit to Texas. He told OTF this about the visit: "You can tell football means everything down here," Hodge told OTF. "The energy, the passion, the way the team is playing to the fans. It's different!" Hodge also told OTF that his official visit to Texas is scheduled for the Arkansas game weekend, dependent on Cherry Creek's playoff schedule. OTF likes Texas' chances here, if a final push is made. Dylan Berymon ... This one isn't as clear as Wells. OTF isn't convinced, as of right now, that Texas and Berymon will remain a match. The ball is in Texas' court, to be clear. Jalen Lott ... It has essentially been radio silence in the last 24 hours with the people OTF would prefer to get the latest from. Tyler Atkinson ... We continue to hear all positive about Texas and the Grayson High 5-star linebacker after a second game day visit this season.
  16. Honestly idc how it looks, as long as we win I could care less.
  17. This is from the highlights (or lowlights) from the Indiana game, haha.
  18. For all the squawking about how Kirk and TPUSA revolutionized (or some shit) the youth vote, in the interview with your Governor GCN, they shifted 13% of the white male under 25 vote. While that is certainly statistically and electorally significant, in the grand scheme, shows that Kirk's popularity and influence in that demo isn't as overwhelming as it has been made to seem. I think the reason olds like him, in addition to just liking everything MAGA, is that they suspect that they're old, out of touch, and wrong, but ol' Chuck gave em a youth voice that countered their suspicion, just like blacks and latinos for Trump assuage the nagging feeling that they're being racists.
  19. I am not a QB expert. Should I be concerned that in the highlight video above, I did not seem to see much of Arch's helmet pointing in one direction and then the completed throw in another direction? Was it there and I missed it? He definitely looked better this week, but I am not certain that I saw evidence this week that he can go through reads and make a good throw to the second or third.

  21. Interesting comparison..and the ole ball coach's former gig might be open soon
  22. Tattoos are sometimes great to forever remind a person of how big a fool they might have once been, or still are.
