  1. Past hour
  2. An obvious indictment of substandard coaching
  3. Yes, resumes changed after the conference championship game. That is what I have been saying, glad you agree
  4. I looked at it this morning and my napkin math had Texas opponnents at 31-33 compared to 32-32 for Bama. The only difference at all between bama and texas really is that we played OSU and they did not. Had we played Oregon State or something we would both be 10-2 and have pretty much the same resume
  5. If Georgia beats them as bad as us then we are equal to Alabama in record. We’ll both have a bad loss but we’ll have a better resume overall
  6. Did you miss the BCS era?
  7. That doesn't open up any spots though, right? The rule is "the five conference champions ranked highest by the CFP selection committee, plus the next seven highest-ranked schools." So it would be the SEC Champ, BIG Champ, Big XII Champ, then AAC champ (UNT/Tulane), and SBC Champ (JMU). I guess the question is, if Troy somehow beat JMU, do they get in, or do the words "ranked highest by the CFP selection committee" require that the champ be in the Top 25 since that's as high as the CFP poll ranks. I don't see any contingencies if only 4 of the conference champs are ranked. I doubt it matters though since JMU will almost certainly roll and are already ranked. (Edit: I was thinking AP poll, if JMU wins though I bet they crack the top 25).
  8. Because they'll be the SEC runner-up. That's it. That's the reason.
  9. Policy genius and The Zebra are my go-to searches
  10. He is grimacing and must be hurt 😂
  11. I just did this yesterday. Man do I feel you.
  12. Sat out Georgia to try to break the curse. Alas..
  13. Georgias resume got better because they beat us. Ours got worse because of that. In the committees eyes, bama is second place in the sec. They will be slotted as sec team 2
  14. Buddy of mine went to the Tennessee game on Saturday and the first thing he texted me was how annoying the DJ music was. Apparently the WiFi was great though, because he was able to send me short videos.
  15. Not seeing a problem here. Pretty much everyone* should have one by now. Texas has been using them since 2016 *except sovereign citizens of course
  16. Per his wiki page, Bradley became the commander of the United States Special Operations Command on October 3rd, 2025. Admiral Holsey's resignation was announced on October 16th, but his position was the "head" of US Southern Command. The first boat was struck on September 1st. So, no, Bradley was not a replacement for Holsey. It sounds like Holsey was not directly in charge of the operation, but probably was involved and resigned. Bradley may be fucked. I hope someone confiscates his side arm.
  17. The problem with this is that Bama isn't considered a "bubble team" at this point. The SEC is the strongest conference in the nation this season and the two teams that play in the CCG are getting in. Period. You can't compare this to basketball because the method for determining conference champ is one game between the "top" two teams -- not everybody in the conference in a seeded tournament format. So if Duke wins, that opens the door up for a second G5 school to get in. Does it have to work that way? Or does that open the door for Texas to sneak in?
  18. WHy? Bama's SEC opponents had a 32-32 record this year and Texas opponents were 35-29. OU was 35-29. Alabama benefitted from an easier SEC schedule. It is not like all SEC teams play the same SEC schedule. I know it is crazy to think that you should look at every game a team plays. Again, the committee has Bama as the last team in currently. (used AI for these, so apologize if anything is off, but you get the pt.)
  19. I heard quite a bit of this prior to the game. Never mind that it ignores the facts of a conference title and two final four playoff appearances in the last two years, it ignores the fact that they haven't done jack shit since FedEx was delivering their signing papers. Aggies will never get over the hump until they recognize that they are the problem, and that ain't happening any time soon.
  20. This whole thing is really shitty. Whoever is responsible for the current rules sucks. The rules surrounding the calendar created this situation. Both parties did what they had to do, which sucks for the coach, the institution, the players, the coaching staff, everyone involved. Lane Kiffin might be a giant piece of shit; the Ole Miss AD might be a giant dumbass, but neither side is at fault for how this played out. It's really unfortunate and should be changed immediately.
  21. Just discovered this self titled album by Felt, a band I'd never heard of. They released the one album in 1971. It's got a prog rock psychedelic blues sound that is right in my wheelhouse.
  22. Both Worthy and AD Mitchell seemed to do just fine picking things up. Mosley seemed to take a little longer, but he was also injured throughout fall camp.
  23. What happened to "Don't California my Texas"?
  24. Leading up to the game, they were debating our position as a blue blood based on what have you done lately? There was much certitude on TexAgs that they were about to establish themselves as the pre-eminent, all-time big brother blue blood. No NC (natty to all you insiders so familiar with having one) in 20 years. Only 3 conference crowns this century. I mean, what is that in the face of all the Aggie achievement in the same period of time? They were 11-0 and a chip shot from going undefeated, winning the SEC, and claiming their natty! They've locked down Elko! The sleeping giant would drag his mega-scrotum across the fehg faces at t.u.! But, an overrated 3-star fraud with a 5-star name shattered their dream.
  25. The loudest game I've ever been to was when Texas visited Purdue in basketball. The deafening volume of noise was generated by the Purdue band and the fans, who did chants in unison throughout the game. They're currently ranked #1, so it works for them. Edit: Apologies for derailing the thread. I'll get it back on track. You have to give A&M a break. They've been playing all season with a QB, who was the backup to Weigman, who was a backup to Max Johnson, who was a backup to Haynes King, who was a backup to Zach Calzada.
