Hah, that wasn't my intent... but it was a damn good performance and the last time I saw Tom Petty. At the time I lived across the river from Zilker- and less than a month later the Rolling Stones played Zilker Park, which was also a great time.

O/U on number of deep dish pizzas each of these “soldiers” put away during their stay in Chicago?

I’m not convinced of that just yet. OL to me is holding back the entirety of the offense. WR is not as good as it should be, but Mosley looks plenty serviceable now that we know he exists and Livingstone has been $$$. Moore has been good when he can play and he’s a solid blocker and good route runner. Wingo needs better route running and to attack the damn ball like his DB stole his woman or NIL paycheck or something. I think Wingo with his head on straight and consistent changes the narrative here greatly. TE I think we’re in a pretty good place. Put me in the camp of wanting to see more Nick Townsend, Jordan Washington and Emaree Winston instead of Spencer Shannon. Townsend has shown he’s a man from kick out block #1. Throw the damn ball to Endries. RB, I feel we’re not playing the right guys. Baxter returning from injury 100% was gonna be difficult to count on and should have been glaringly obvious. That said, hard to get a top transfer RB when you have a 1k rusher returning healthy (before camp). Wisner is pretty good, but is much better at OZ which we can’t block. We have what looks to be a tremendous amount of upside in James Simon. If he doesn’t tote the rock 10 times against OU that’s criminal. Gibson, his fumble notwithstanding, has looked good this year and needs to see some carries with Wisner and Baxter on the sidelines. I want to like Christian Clark more, but I just don’t see it. With a shitty OL, I don’t feel you have as much liberty to dance behind the line of scrimmage to find a hole like Clark seems to like to do.

no, i don't utilize chatgpt. knowing your proclivity for using it and the fact that you took the time to start this thread, i would have assumed you already queried it and did not get a satisfying answer anyway. that said, your question did cause me to play the key elements of the song on the piano to see if there was anything else theory wise that could explain its effectiveness and i am pretty damn sure playing along with it that...to the extent you could say it has a key and mode...it is is in E phrygian. it's key chords are b diminished, g, c, and f. if it was a class pop song, you would replace the bdim with an a minor and you'd have classic happy and resolved sound. however, the use of that bdim drastically changes everything and basically makes it an E phrygian which is not a very common key/mode signature. the bdim is effectively a vii° leading chord. phrygian is absolutely a go-to mode if you are looking to build obvious tension and darkness. again, i have no idea what thought went into this but purposeful or not, e phrygian is dark stuff. moreover, on the sung/yelled melody, where it goes from the long sustained "hoes" to "calling," that is a single semitone jump up. that is a class tension and foreboding feeling. think of williams's theme from jaws...same thing. anyway, all of it ultimately contributes to a vibe. gets boring quick though just listening to it as music...as does a lot of effective "stadium hype music."

Hook up Arch on a simulator all week and shorten passing routes. Gotta process faster, and get the damn ball out quicker. The German VR ‘flight simulator’ behind LSU QB Jayden Daniels’ Heisman-caliber 2023 season

Yeah, but if we start bombing Venezuela over drugs, how many other countries in this hemisphere are going to wonder when they are next? Trump clearly needed somebody to beat up on, but nobody likes the 200-pound linebacker in the 12th grade beating the shit out of the 100-pound 6th grader.

The Athletic is aggy garbage

I saw an interesting video about the strike on the refinery that was north of Moscow. Part of the genius of that attack was using flocks of super cheap drones carrying no munitions to confuse air defenses and make them spend resources to stop the large numbers of what were essentially completely useless and non-threatening drones. if sending up hundred dollar drones will result in expensive AA Resources being wasted by Russia, they should be doing this every night until it’s time to use the real drones or missiles.

Ahh fiddlesticks….. Guessing 81 wins for the good guys. It will probably only take 91 wins to win the West so……..

I'm guessing not very high. Even prior to 2022, it would not have been high enough to handle the volume they've seen over even just the past year - the amount of aerial attacks is absolutely insane - up to hundreds every day, ranging from ballistic missiles down to off-the-shelf stuff dropping off-the-shelf mortar shells. And the same could probably be said for the US, although we would focus more on destroying the threats on the ground as well as the factories and jamming the command and control. Evidence of this being that Ukraine has been able to repeatedly hit the same sites, even within just weeks of the first strikes, as well as the fact that it's been clear for weeks that Ukraine is going to continue to hammer O&G, and Russia has been mostly impotent to stop it. To put it another way: If somebody in Ukraine is drawing up a list of critical sites and is following that list, somebody in Russia would be just as aware of what that list looks like. So they are clearly short on AA replenishment.

2006. That was worth sticking around for- great performance.

Holy Perspicacity on Esoteric Info Batman. I dunno, but it seems wise to take your word for it and not do a Google search on the term.
-
I'm watching it now. I don't even understand some of the blocking concepts and why we'd even attempt slow-developing PA passes with no running threat. Ridiculous

Not approving of this message, but I think it's not worthy that our POTUS is posting ITYSL memes about it. -

God damn those dudes are not chasing anyone down ever. We had some big boys in the Navy but I don't think they were even close to this

Lol. No one is saying dude is a flop. All we are saying is dude holds the ball too long and needs find his shorter routes. It's not that serious.

Surprise, in times of economic downtown or job instability, military enlistment goes up - always has, always will. So that's not quite the bragging point you think it is, but you also wouldn't be the first to try to use that as a positive. When the economy is steady or growing in a healthy manner, guess what, enlistment drops. And a shitload of people have joined in recent years because ACASP is giving them a leg up (Trump was not responsible for that, it goes back to Obama and was being expanded under Biden, although the groundwork was laid under Bush). Lot of people who were on the fence are willing to join if they get credit for their civilian work and certifications (i.e. come in at a higher rank/more pay with $5,000 - $20,000 bonuses on top of that). Toss in a shitty economy and them getting credit for their civilian background, and yeah, enlistment will rise. But I suggest you talk to people who had to suspend their schooling or decent jobs so that Abbott or other state governors can get Trump's attention, all the while they are mocked by the locals and having their photos plastered all over social media. Publicly, they won't dare say shit for fear of being reprimanded, and the younger ones will say whatever they feel they need to say to not end up on anybody's shitlist. But when those who have been around are waiting on their kids after school and hanging with other parents, or they are sitting around at their kid's soccer or volleyball practice or camping out and spending a lot of time with other scout parents and shooting the shit, yeah, they have lots to say.
