  1. Past hour
  2. He could have Moonwalked into the end zone.
  3. Much like Connor Stroh trying to pancake an SEC 3 Tech, this aggression will not stand.
  4. A taquito with one topping is $4.25 and it is a shitty excuse for a taco. Pro tip: add grilled onions and jalapeños (have to ask in person, the app is communist)
  5. Kind of wild that Vic missed on Abi and Flemings (the only two 5 stars from Texas) and is going to land 2 OOS ones. And did it last year with missing Chavez and landing Crump from FL Oh and we lead JMU 25-9 after the first quarter
  6. Bring back CUSA & Sun Belt, their games were much more entertaining this season.
  7. CMU receiver with one of the worst drops you will ever see. Had a walk-in TD.
  8. Ho lee fuk, that's our new leader for worst drop of '25. Sweet jesus, these teams all suck.
  9. tucker is going to run
  10. I'm about 6 months behind, and have not seen much outside of episodes 1-7, but this show kicks ass. (Have not seen Rogue One) I watched most of season 1 while taking care of a baby, or quietly in bed. Season 2 has me hooked big time, so I'm paying much closer attention. Had to rewatch the end of episode 5 with the rhydo, because the intensity was not effectively captured with distractions. I just started episode 9, but have to put it on hold since the wife isn't joining me on this one. Somewhat of a relief since she is content watching 20 minutes of a show per day. I'm catching up on the thread now as I go, but should have joined the discussion as it was going. So good...
  11. It’s funny cuz I met a bunch of Surlies in real life. all my pals. I am not trying to date one, I have a BF and he is like an honorary surly. As far as attention I will never live down my non-sober years, and have been sober since 4/24/22. Drinking was my vice. I do gummies now and then and occasional pre-roll. I destroyed some of my life back then. I root for sark. In this regard as a person. He also has enormous talent. And his demons have gotten in the way in the past at other places and that is not a rumor that is a fact. He sued USC when they fired him for being drunk saying he had a disability and they didn’t help him. All facts. all of this a matter of public record and it is not in dispute. I have heard from multiple people that I trust that he has NOT conquered his demons here at Texas whatsoever. This season and his slap dick approach to the offseason as well coincides with other places he has worked and had “issues.” He’s not a choir boy. He met L’Oreal before he was divorced. A good friend of mine who’s known her well over a decade advised her not to chase him at the time. He was married. She did anyway. All facts. No matter whether the rumors about L’Oréal or Sark are being unfaithful to each other outside their marriage multiple names have been brought up on both sides and some connected to our fucking team. Does that sound professional and or winning a MNC to you? If you do not think the above has any bearing on our win loss record or recruiting or evaluating talent cool. That fine. But I think if you also knew with your own eyes this shit to be true you would absolutely agree it has an affect on everything that a HC would do. It’s not about someone who drinks this is someone who considers himself a recovering alcoholic in his own words and he cannot drink. And when he does he loses his jobs. In the past. no one has to believe any of the above ever at all. It’s been told to you so you don’t get blindsided if major changes are made and he is gone or he stays and major changes are forced on his ass. That’s the reality. Like it or don’t like it your choice.
  12. Not sure how many others are joining Mulkey in the prediction, but SB Nation is flat out claiming the state of Bjorn has been called for Texas. https://www.sbnation.com/womens-sports/1090997/addison-bjorn-commitment-womens-basketball-recruiting-bri-crittendon-sec-texas
  13. The fellow who took that famous photo of the young gal kneeling over the body of the dying young man at Kent State was from across the river from me. I used to write at the same paper where he worked. John Filo is his name. He went on to work for the AP, the Philly paper and I think then CBS.
  14. my employer doesn't pay well. We have gone to 3 days in office, 2 at home. As a manager the only benefit is that I can take away WFH for low performers. That's a handy tool to push out marginal folks. But in the long run my organization - like every organization - competes for talent in the free market. Salary and non-monetery benefits (like telecommuting) make up the compensation mix. We will either have to pay market rates, or offer flexibility. Offering neither is a dead end.
  15. He fouled the shit out of him but yes he made the dunk I guess.
  16. lol they reviewed it and called it a foul on allen.
  17. Clearer info on the way, night crew cometh…
  18. Jesus Christ, this. People love tough immigration talk when it's about some nameless, faceless criminal in another state. What ICE/CBP is doing to good people in their communities, is pissing people the fuck off. This is a bigger issue than most think
  19. Based on your facts I would be fine parting ways with Sark. I think there is a close to zero chance of that happening though.
  20. This is somewhat right, but the real reason they are in this position is because Paramount put the WBD board in a corner with their unsolicited bid. The spin off by itself wouldn't have triggered Revlon duties, but the board was immediately under tremendous pressure to run a sale process once the bid hit (sure, let's call it a strategic alternative process for fun, but in my opinion there is no chance they continue with the split unless they get really bleak antitrust advice). This is a really good internet post because it is both impressively wrong and yet also self-assured. Bravo!
  21. Is it still illegal to not have health insurance?
  22. Nice slap to the face.
