Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

And someone last night thought this thread was over. Like they've never been on Surly before. We'll get at least another week of if this happens, we're in scenarios. Meanwhile, I'm buying Cheez Its to prepare for NYE. -
Man, y'all would laugh at the types of places we stay when we go to Italy. I can include pictures of our laundry hanging on a line, the owner's cats wandering the property as we go to our apartment above a restaurant, the pile of shopping bags to reuse for our daily run to Conad or Coop. Maybe I can get my wife to take a picture of me acting like the local closed circuit TV for the block...

Carlton is a nice consolation prize though. Plus, Kanu and January coming back provides us with depth plus the other 3 studs from last year. -

Yes, I remember Worthy having drops, he also played with a broken hand. Even then, he did not have anywhere near the drops Wingo had. Comparing them is dumb. Worthy hit damn near 1000 yards with freshman year, 800 his soph year, and had a solid Jr year with all the talent on that team (AD, and JWhit). He made big plays in big games against Bama, ou, etc. He's also been a starter on a playoff team his 1st and 2nd year in the NFL. Wingo is not that. The aggy game is the 1st time I remember Wingo making a big time play against a top 10 opponent? I'd prefer not to put all our eggs in his basket and get a proven WR in the portal. I also want to clarify, I want Wingo on the team, but not as WR 1. DM Jr can get fucked in the portal. Dude had 1 Td until the Arkansas game. -

Oh, when you mean subsidize, you mean basic humanitarian shit we should do to refugees and asylums like medical care, and relocation support that is, just, you know, being a decent human being. And arguably is a form of soft power to help people transition into American culture. You know, when 40% of Americans aren't screaming racist shit at them. I naturally thought, based on your sources, you meant the American Government cutting direct checks for immigrants to move here like most of those great internet sources you love. Speaking of internet sources, which I specified, this site seems totally unbiased and super professional.

Not ripping on you, but Mel Kiper doesn't know shit about fuck.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

If we are talking an actual sane person it’s not, and by most accounts Chris Klieman is. People scrimp and hustle with the aim to enjoy good years in retirement and do so with much less in the bank. “I am 58 years old and made between 3-5 million each year over the past six. Realistically, I am not going to win a national championship. I can leave now with the goodwill of thousands of people. I will never run out of money, my kids and grandkids might never run out of money if I am smart. I’m healthy and I’m going to go enjoy myself and all this money. And never think about what 19 year old defensive backs are up to at all hours of the day and never again say “this loss was on me” at a press conference after my 20 year old QB threw into double coverage instead of the check down I drilled with him 200 times.” I will 100 percent die on a hill that this thought process is the sanest of anyone involved in CFB this year. And Klein is a great hire for them and I’ll be sad to see him leave. He is a bit of seasoning away from being a real genius. -
Finally! Fuck fubo.

this is a good point. Maybe he's a late bloomer and with a full year and off-season under his belt (hopefully he goes through a full off-season with that surgery he is scheduled to have) he can be what we all think. -
Texas a&m is currently set to play in their first post season game in program history where they are not eliminated from championship discussions. In their 1939 championship the final AP poll was released after the regular season and that was not changed until 1965. Every other year that it would have mattered they were ineligible for bowls due to NCAA infractions. Here is a list of around 35 teams that have played a post season game with NC implications before they did. Regular Bowl games 1965-1991 Michigan State, Arkansas, Alabama, Nebraska, USC, Ohio State, Texas Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburg, Clemson, Georgia, Miami, Clemson, BYU, West Virginia, Colorado, Georgia Tech (coaches poll), Washington (coaches poll) Bowl Coalition (1992–1994) Florida State Bowl Alliance (1995–1997) Florida, Michigan Bowl Championship Series (1998–2013) Tennessee, Virginia Tech, LSU, Oregon, Auburn, Playoff Era (2014-Present) TCU, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Boise State, SMU, Indiana, Texas Tech, Ole Miss and finally Texas a&m TBD (Tulane Virginia Duke James Madison and North Texas)

Aggie will pretend they're better without him, and then use his loss as an excuse for why they lose. Just watch.
