  1. Past hour
  2. Won't you think of the poor pitmasters, out on the tarmac late at night, putting their heart and soul into their craft?
  3. I think they're from Missouri. She's jailed in Kentucky.
  4. While Star Wars obviously had a much wider audience than 2001, I doubt it gets made without 2001 breaking ground showing that big budget Sci-Fi movies can be made and be profitable.
  5. Would you okay with Sydney Sweeney sliding into your bed, naked, every night as well? Dude already told you guys to pound sand on an alleged market-resetting offer. Quick, name the most successful and legendary coach to ever coach at Florida. Name another! Now try that with Ole Miss without being able to insert Kiffin’s name in the first or second slot.
  6. Our best receiver(13) is a JAG, so disappointing. Or so I was told by experts on this site.
  7. Is that her real voice, or is she doing a Larry the Cable Guy bit?
  8. They've shown tremendous restraint in not wasting resources on purly symbolic attacks. Rather, they find bold, strategic, military targets and let the audacity of the attack be thr symbolism. In the case of the new Flamingo, I suggest building up a good stock of them then hitting a volley of targets that were otherwise too distant to target. Let a whole buncha refineries, drone factories, etc way out in the hinterland all blow up at the same time.
  9. Id like to see our RBs actually rush for their first TD of the year
  10. Update - we pivoted completely and ended up at Aiko. Excellent meal. How do you guys compare it to the other upscale sushi joints in town?
  11. Good programs take advantage of years when they have a weak(ish) schedule and they win conference/national championships during those stretches. We can't seem to do that. We always peak when the competition is at its toughest. By the time we're really rolling and have all the pieces in place, we'll be playing the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles away.
  12. Side note - the simple Peter Millar uniforms worn by the Walker Cup guys looks so much better than the Ralph Lauren crap we'll see in the Ryder Cup.
  13. The poster I responded to said both picks were guaranteed to be in the 20s. Nothing is guaranteed, especially in the NFL. You made all that other stuff up I guess to justify coming on here and bragging about the Packers
  14. How much of the correlation might be linked to socioeconomic status? It would stand to reason that older parents would tend to have higher incomes, better health care, schools, etc., which would result in lesser cases of undiagnosed ASD, etc. Do the parents age studies control for that factor?
  15. That’s a good description.
  16. First you make a roux...
  17. Lane said no as recently as 2024, right? Good to hear you’d be OK with 99% of Florida fans’ first choice that UF probably can’t get. I’d be OK with Sean McVay coaching the Longhorns.
  18. I would counter that with Behind the Green Door
  19. I'd put Arch more in the early Colt McCoy stage right now. A guy from a smaller school who is learning while he goes. Colt didn't have the pedigree but you saw flashes. Arch has these high expectations because of his name which gave him the high star rating. Maybe he's just average. Average could be enough. Man, it's so early. Wisner was out. WRs are still getting up to speed. Wingo is too much in his own head. Livingston and Endries look great. We get consistency out of the WRs, this thing is going to start cooking. We might've been foolish to expect to be great again in the passing game after losing Golden, Bond, and Helm. Baxter looks good at RB and I'm interested in what Clark can bring. We need a home run hitter at RB and no one has stepped up yet. But again, it's early. One of my many flaws is my brain works faster than my fingers when I type.
  20. I hate Mark Ruffalo in almost everything he does. Should I get over that for this?
  21. Had I paid attention, I might have bought tickets and gone.....because that is the only way I am going to get onto Cypress Point.
  22. This. His fumbles are coming after he has gained 6-8 yards weaving through the middle of the defense. It is very sad.
  23. Deep Throat
  24. Trying to remember if I ever had a beer in this size glass (a little over 250 ml) in Europe, but it's been too long. Sierra Nevada says it the "Proper Pilsner" can size. From its head brewer: "I’ve enjoyed beers all over the world, but there’s something special about a proper pilsner at a European pub—crisp, refreshing, and served in a smaller glass to keep it at the ideal temperature and flavor. That’s how PILS is meant to be enjoyed.” (found that quote on a beer mag site, but they stole it directly from the brewer's site) @Firemans4Horn is right -- Sierra Nevada is a little proud of this one. Apparently they even made a special branded glass for it, and they have a limited rollout with an opportunity for drinkers to be informed (signup on the SN website) when it goes national. There are 11 pubs in southern Wisconsin that have it now, according to the website, including Leisure Time Sports Bar and Bowl in Prairie du Chien, across from Fillback Ford and just down the street from the Microtel. Six locations in Austin and seven in Dallas for now. Looks like a pretty eclectic selection of local bars.
