  1. Past hour
  2. So, I get a text from one of my buddies that Bregman is >going to sign< with the Washington Nationals and I go online and there’s a story with the headline “Washington Nationals Signing Alex Bregman in MLB Free Agency.” So, I ran with the story…without reading the article….which turned out to be one of those bullshit articles with a headline that took liberties with the truth. Clickbait. I’m an old and my bud who texted me is an old and, when you’re old, you do at least one embarrassing thing a day. And you blame it on being old. The worst part of getting older is getting old. But it beats the alternative.
  3. I thought for sure Vasek was going to get called when I saw it live at the game.
  4. Nike had that Bowerman line of running shoes that covered several different models in around 2000. Those shoes were extremely legit. Every other running shoe they made that didn't say Bowerman was shit.
  5. New Confederate Army. Sponsored by waffle house.
  6. The Hutson part is the truth. With him at center they will get eaten alive by mediocre defenses and destroyed by the Georgia’s of the world. Even Kentucky and Miss St. could give us problems by blowing up the middle of the line.
  7. The NFL needs to figure out how to simplify its rule book. It's almost like they look for an excuse to throw the flag.
  8. Filmguy: "I think his legs are their best passing feature" 13min mark FILM: What Did Texas Do To Find The Win Vs Oklahoma
  9. Lions don’t know the rules.
  10. Dan Campbell is one wild ass decision maker.
  11. Buzzkill.
  12. Brisketexan

    Austin FC

Sold ours. At ACL instead. T Pain has only 6 fewer MLS goals than Uzuni this year.
  13. I showed my tickets to get in the fair and mine were scanned through gate a where they tossed up gated entry to guide the mob but the fat dude manning each section isn’t checking tickets to make sure you have one so it’s a free for all.
  14. Dude had a great game. He's putting it together. Don't want to be hyperbolic here but The Legend of Vince really only lasted about 1.5 seasons. That first half of 04 was rough, had mfers calling for Chance Mock and other various horseshit
  15. What a great block!
  16. Here we go
  17. I know Gerry Lindgren and I've taken shits bigger than him.
  18. Ha, that play was fun.
  19. Would be...which is why it sounds like a bullshit rumor. The contract hasn't even kicked in yet, and ADIDAS execs are forcing a firing? Doubt. Their weak list of schools tells me they are just happy to be there.
  20. The A&M last year was an evidence brick capping off a thousand yard season in the SEC. He's tough as shit and has chance of at least entering the discussion of one greats on the 40.
  21. Halter played for Team Indiana Volleyball Gary played for Munciana
  22. I have a job that I will lose if I fight some fucksticks and get arrested. I was dealing with about 5 frat dudes that were trying to impress their girlfriends. They were adamant they weren’t moving. My wife saw my rage and was frantic trying to find someone to help. Two ushers just walked away and one showed up towards the end of the first quarter when I was chest to chest with the loudest of the dipshits. They were finally forced to move. That’s not what I expect when I buy $200 tickets. Somebody has to be responsible.
  23. Went better than it could have. Let’s go Ms. Get the bats going.
  24. Just posted it on Spotify. Is CCRW aware they’re using one of their songs? The podcast’s theme song is a shitty cover.
  25. I don't think that particular play is a great example to cite if you want to criticize Niblett. Go back and review that play if you can -- I have. That was a shitty, low, line-drive punt that landed a good 20 yards in front of where Niblett had set up. Not even Deion Sanders in his prime would have tried to field that punt on the fly. The punt then bounced crazily in OU's favor. Niblett approached the ball and clearly thought about trying to field it, but at the last instant he decided to let it go past him. I suppose one could second-guess his decision not to try to field the punt on the bounce, but with the way (and speed) that ball was bouncing, I had no problem with his decision. There was a good chance that an attempt to field that punt would have led to a muff, and the last thing Texas needed at that point in time was a muffed punt and a turnover in favor of OU, which would have been a huge swing in momentum. And, as someone else has pointed out, part of the reason the drive started at the 5 yard line was because one of the punt return team got called for a penalty. Some of Niblett's other decisions re: fielding punts in prior games are a lot more questionable than that play, IMO.
