  3. As somebody studying computer science and working in IT when that movie came out, I loved the shit out of that movie and still do today. Loved the cast. Loved that it started out as a sequel to War Games. Putting aside Redford and the rest of the cast, it's a well-made/tightly-edited movie.
  4. They didn't need to punch it in to win. They needed to run 3 more plays and then send out an automatic kicker for a chip shot to take the lead with barely 20 seconds left after the Bucs used up 2 timeouts. Another way to look at it: once the Texans were in comfortable Kaimi range, the best thing that could have happened for the Bucs (short of a fumble) was a quick Houston score so Baker had maximum time with the ball. And that's exactly what they got. Given our complete inability to run all game, I wouldn't be surprised if their secondary let Chubb score once he burst through the first level.
  5. πŸ’― I simply started posting on this topic because there were a lot of people espousing insults and accusations against the man that simply aren’t true with nothing to back it up other than more insults and name calling. When questioned, I am told the same of myself and to stop posting.
  6. He was in a lot of great movies but Sneakers had an amazing cast and was so prescient about technology and data.
  7. The last twenty minutes of A River Runs Through It are as beautiful as the end of any movie. He had great taste in his choices of films.
  8. He totally wasn't racist and only used examples of some of the absolutely most qualified black women ever (SJL is a stretch, admittedly) to make his point. What's not to understand?
  9. Spy Game another underrated IMO.
  10. Why does Kash Patel always look: 1.) High as shit at a work function / tweaking / on a bad trip 2.) Fighting a wet shart
  11. The first day of the group stage calls for the Champions League Theme
  12. A lot more than Tesla and Musk could ever dream of.
  13. I didn’t realize that he had never won an acting Oscar.
  14. On a widebody first class has its own boarding door so you never have to see the underclass and they'll never access your stowage.
  15. You still haven't answered this very straightforward question.
  16. As opposed to being accidentally dense like you?
  17. I see that now that I'm on a laptop. I went to go find the user in mind and... he's not around anymore. I guess problem solved.
  18. How much is the Catholic church worth?
  19. This is correct. There was plenty to be excited about with strong at the time he was hired. It was as soon as his assistant coaches were hired that most knew we were cooked.
  20. Enchubben sounds EXACTLY like my late FIL. UT grad '66. Enlisted in the Army immediately after graduation, did a tour in Korea as an ambulance driver at a MASH unit. Got out, married, started a family & went to work at his dad's successful RV business in SA. He fucked that up so badly he was passed over by his younger sister's husband to be the GM. So he quit the family business due to the insult & tried selling cars for Benson & McCombs. Couldn't hack that either. So his wife put on the pants & was the breadwinner for the next 25 years while he smoked, drank, & came up with lame ass ideas that never panned out. He had a special hatred for government employees. It severely damaged his relationship with his daughter who's been a gov't employee her entire career (but no the son who was active duty USAF for 25 years). Why did he hate gov't workers so much? It seems he applied for a civil service job in SA in the early 80s & didn't get it. So in his warped mind, the only way a white, male, veteran TexasEx wouldn't be hired is due to minority quotas. I mean, there's no way an alcoholic with no computer skills & a checkered employment history with major gaps wouldn't be a dream candidate for any hiring manager, right?
  21. RIP to one of the greats. The Sting is one of those movies I always watch if I run across it. Since Sneakers was already mentioned I will nominate Brubaker as one of his β€œunderrated films”. As a kid I watched that a ton and learned all about the corrupt prison system in this country.
