  1. Past hour
  2. i…completely agree with mack brown?
  3. I kinda doubt it was an option.
  4. Went there with a buddy before Thanksgiving, and they hooked us up with a free cornbread. Oh man...
  5. Yet he’s still way better than Cee Dee. Get rid of them both and Dak and tank to start over. Let Jerry ride off into the sunset on a 2 win season.
  6. You will perish in flames!
  7. Well damn
  8. Well I'm bookmarking this thread now....
  9. Local Fox affiliate just did a story on a Dallas homeowner that got screwed by his homeowner's insurance company after a city sewer system backed up into his home. The end of the interview was him saying "Texas is too good of a state to let businesses run this way." I guffawed out loud.
  10. Well they beat Florida State (who beat Alabama)
  11. Pickens shitty effort last night was why Pittsburgh let him go, that and he is a basket case. The first INT if he just extends his hands to the ball the defender can't deflect it like he did. I wouldn't lose any sleep if he went elsewhere in the offseason. All the talent in the world, but a complete nutjob.
  12. We'll be nuking brown people from orbit by next year. It's the only way to be sure.
  13. SEC goes 6-1 on day 1 and 7-2 on day 2 to win the SEC/ACC challenge, 13-3 Texas 79, UNC 64 South Carolina 79, Louisville 77 LSU 93, Duke 77 Ole Miss 69, ND 62 VT 68, Florida 64 MSST 79, Pitt 44 SMU 78, Arky 63 Alabama 72, Clemson 48 Missouri 68, Cal 67 Gisella Maul had a double double for Cal - 10 points, 11 boards
  14. You're not wrong to root for Baxter, of course. He's a Longhorn. The problem with keeping him on the roster is the same problem the Cowboys had for years with Ezekiel Elliott. He's a progress-stopper at this point. As long as he's on the team, he will inevitably get some carries that could have gone to someone better and those carries will most likely result in wasted plays/drives.
  15. Well, we look to be fast approaching that school. Sorrell got drafted. Burke and Moore should this year as well. Simmons will for certain. The young guys are progressing nicely. Hook ‘em! 🤘
  16. 24 teams, Top 8 seeds get a bye All conference champs plus at-large bids to fill it out. It's not a real playoff if there is any feasible path for a team to go undefeated and not win it all. Conference champs guaranteed a top 16 seed (home game in the first round) but not a top 8 seed and first round bye. Conference championships should mean something and yes I realize that #17 would absolutely drill #16 in this format most years. Deserve's got nothing to do with it if you don't win your conference. If you want the money from a conference championship game then you risk a team getting dropped. Tough shit. #1 Ohio St. vs. winner of #17 Texas @ #16 Kennesaw St. #8 Oklahoma vs. winner of #24 Houston @ #9 Notre Dame #4 Texas Tech vs. winner of #20 Southern Cal @ #13 Virginia #5 Oregon vs. winner of #21 Arizona @ #12 BYU #2 Georgia vs. winner of #18 Vanderbilt @ #15 Western Michigan #7 Texas A&M vs. winner of #23 Tulane @ #10 Alabama #3 Indiana vs. winner of #19 Utah @ #14 New Mexico #6 Ole Miss vs. winner of #22 Michigan @ #11 Miami (this is assuming higher ranked teams win CCGs and the loser drops one spot)
  17. Bread Boat is so good. I work with one of the owners at his "day job." One of the nicest guys on the planet, honest and hardworking, and really dedicated to the quality of the food. The khachapuri (bread boat) pictured above is really special, and the kubdari is quite tasty as well-- it's a meat pie that's kind of like the Georgian version of a calzone. They have a beef stew that's really good too, especially now in the colder weather. But the cake... the cake might be the best thing they have.
  18. the majority of that is probably good attrition. The question will be how many guys Texas will lose that the staff wants to keep. There will be some, but you hope it is a small number
  19. It bears keeping in mind that all of those things you mention have been getting help from Russian intelligence. Exporting discontent is their speciality
  20. Wordle 1,630 4/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟨🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. Bama only has 2 losses, though. Not 3. They found a way to beat a shitty Auburn team. We didn't find a way to beat a shitty Florida team. That's the difference. But what keeps getting ignored is that Texas is 0-5 against Georgia and Ohio State in a year period of time. That's the real issue here.
  22. Or like the guy who rage-quits his job thinking he is a top industry talent and then one month later, calls back and begs to return after no one offers him a job. And can people stop posting gratuitous images like this? It's not appropriate and hurts our attempt to be become a legitimate site.
  23. Yeah, they find the best wr prospect every year and then sign them. If we signed a Collin Simmons type edge prospect every year, we would suddenly be the school for edges.
  24. Whether or not Flood is back is a bit irrelevant to the premise of whether or not he actually did his job this year. The answer to that question is that he did not, and that is a belief held within Belmont and among its benefactors. Flood was apparently challenged about using the portal to field his best 5 and he effectively said “my team is on the court (field)” and ended the discussion after last season. His loyalty was not rewarded and it cost Texas. He went late into this season calling Connor fucking Stroh one of his kind of guys. Solid work. That dude is walking and the portal is being used heavily this cycle and none of that is because Kyle Flood has done his job and deserves to continue to draw a salary from Texas.
  25. Maybe psu passed on that loser
